The hotel is tired, especially the furniture and the windows. The rooms are small. The lightning is dark everywhere. The overall atmosphere is repressive. I selected The Mira only because it is a Marriott Bonvoy member. It was extremely disappointing that my Platinum status did not give me access to the Club Lounge nor the complimentary breakfast. Oh, there wasn't a line for the Bonvoy members to check in. I stood and waited for about 45 minutes. The return for the room rates I paid was low.
Mira is a very good choice in terms of location. However, the stylish deco cannot hide the fact that the room infrastructure is not modern at all - the shower facility and washing sink are very old fashioned. Lighting buttons very cumbersome. Compared with similar grade of hotel like Hyatt Regency, I prefer the latter. The check-in process was cumbersome. Usually I used Marriott Bonvoy app to do check-in but this didn’t work for Mira. Hotel staff is exceptional and very responsive. I was very happy with my stay. The management needs to pay more attention to the check-in process and digitalization of the whole customer experience. Part of my journey I needed to work, I was always disturbed by the neighboring hotel guests who seemed to come for staycation and created lots of noise. You can get anything you need around there ! There are many shopping mall around and 24hrs supermarket under the floor. You can get your supply anytime when you feel hungry. Also, there are a lot of restaurants around.
Thanks for Patrick Tang and Mark Leung's kind arrangement for my anniversary, The hotel had a very convenient location where we can go Avenue of Star after dinner. We stayed in L9 spa suite which we can enjoy jacuzzi and sauna room. I spent almost half of my time at the Jacuzzi during the stay.
The upstairs room makes noise, the suite is big, but the sun is not enough, there is no view outside the window, the cleanliness is average, the service attitude needs to be improved, the stay was ordinary.
Remarked higher floor, not on a peak day, the unhelpful staff arranged the 6th floor, the lowest floor🙄 with terrible view, no introduction to the facility, a very disappointed holiday with old house view and you can keep watching staff smoking outside
Room is clean and look good. We have booked dinner buffet in a package, but my husband had bad feelings of buffet restaurants. As the staff have made my husband tee shirt dirty and didn't said sorry. However she also did in on my friends. She didn't care about the food sources will drop down on customers. And she got a black face to customers, I don't understand why she like that.
I have been MIRA last year in standard room, the price was really reasonable. I were there to celebrate our anniversary with our kids & the experience was nice! This year, we planned to come again to celebrate and upgraded to MIRA80 in double price, we wished to have a larger space with better environment. We love MIRA80 when we see the photos, with larger spaces plus a nice bath tube & sauna/ steam. Before the trip, hotel told us, MIRA80 has no twins bed but after a while they said they could arranged. Once we entered the room, it was quite uncomfortable. 1) The living room was with a very disgusting smell, bad smell which never go away. 2) when we tried to sit on the sofa, thousand of dust were flying in the air (just like the movie when you entered some old castle & dust everywhere) 3) the furniture & equipment was pretty old, like an old house. (totally different from what we pictured) 4) The closet was also with a scary smell We tried to call the service, they tried to clean the sofa with a wet towel, that's all. Overall, I didn't dislike the service just the room was pretty disgusting and too disappointed from what I paid n expected. I think I will not come again next year! sorry! MIRA80…
This was my 4th and 5th visit in less than a week time to your hotel. My family and I had a great time. Everything was wonderful. The room is clean and the food at Yamm was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Mr Maxi at your Front Desk Office. He was always ready to help and have a smile on his face (Yes, it could also be seen even with his mask on).
Using very long time for check in & check out, room is not ready yet after 4pm. My room near bar & restaurant so at the midnight still very noise, hotel separate breakfast buffet timing cause overbook. It's incredible
