I have booked this hotel for a special celebration. I was a bit skeptical about Mira at first since I haven’t been to any Design Hotels member properties. Although it is technically partnering with Marriott, members do not get their usual privileges. Therefore, my platinum privileges such as breakfast and lounges were not available here. The hotel lobby is pretty dimmed in contrary to the outside streets. It is like a W wannabe, less luxurious. Note to managers looking at the reviews here, please thank the front desk agent checking me in on 28/10. She has done a wonderful job greeting and explaining the perks to me. I was offered a generous upgrade to the spa suite. The suite is a studio style but spacious enough. The bathroom is the spotlight of the room. It has a gigantic jacuzzi bathtub with lights in it. It fits two adults full submerged or maybe 3 sitting. There is also a sauna/shower room for the steam room experience. The bed is also huge, fitting 2 adults with lots of space to roll around. Only downside is that you get basically no view (courtyard view) since the window in my room is only half sized. Due to the pandemic, the hotel has converted the 17th floor to an entire game floor featuring different mini games like an arcade and some entertainment such as movie theatre, karaoke room for an extra charge. The indoor pool is amazing with quite a depth. There are packages were you can dive or pretend to be a mermaid lol. There’s also a public jacuzzi and another smaller one in each changing room. Also a big thank you to Annie Chan for the special arrangement! In general, an interesting and innovative staycation experience. Looking forward to coming back! /Justin

Excellent and friendly service from Cherry. The check in was very efficient, we were assigned a Parkview room overlooking the TST area. The indoor pool is extra-ordinary and lovely. I enjoyed the chocolate gift very much. The overall staycation experience was memorable.

Location is great, right in central of TST. Great heated indoor pool with jaccuzi! Due to COVID, indoor pool limited to 20 persons, arrangement to use the pool is great although you might to wait for a bit. Kids enjoy the activities on 17/F too. When we check-in the Hotel, Mark is really helpful, great service!!!
