I am a hotelier and stay in other hotels to learn , the Grand Hyatt service ticks all the boxes for very friendly and quick service, and the staff obviously love their jobs. The newly decorated rooms are very good, and I recommend all rooms are done like this. The seafood buffet is delicious and very good quality. Overall I... More

Rooms are good and overall very good feel to this hotel. We had our conference here and we were quite satisfied. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant lunch buffet was great with good spread. Breakfast spread is limited and a bit disappointing for a hotel of this callibre. I would come back to this hotel and recommend it... More

Not usually in my consideration set when coming to HK for holiday, but had selected this for work as it is next to the Hong Kong Convention Centre. Getting here. I took the airport express free shuttle bus, had a good trip cause the bus was empty. There are only 4 stops that the bus will make to get to... More

Hotel location is excellent. For those traveling on business or pleasure, the location of the hotel will allow you to get about quite easily. Note that Wanchai is at your door step which has numerous eateries and late night bars. Traveling to Central can be done by taxi or MTR (nearest is Wanchai). You can take a tram to Causeway... More

This is about as good as a hotel gets. From check-in - which is extraordinarily quick and personal (no need to queue up) - to the speed with which any matter is dealt with, to the food, comfort of rooms - one word sums this up: excellence. It is not the only hotel in Hong Kong which deserves such high... More

Everyone at this property made our stay most enjoyable and relaxing that we found our time here way too short. We will have to reconsider the next time we stay here to extend it beyond 5 nights! The staff here has been absolutely first rate, highly professional, warm and delightful. We loved the club lounge breakfast and cocktail hour buffets.... More

If I were to rate this hotel simply on it being a place to rest my head it would probably be average. The room wasn't anything to write home about, and our view of the harbor (one of the main reasons we booked here) was obstructed by the Convention Center and the construction for the land reclamation project going on... Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
