My husband and I used to travel very frequently before the pandemic. Due to the travel restriction in the recent 2 years, we can only stay in Hong Kong and we started staycation since 2020. While we were rather reluctant in staying in local hotels at first, our experience with Grand Hyatt has turned our reluctance into a habit to stay in hotels almost every weekends just to relax. We have stayed in almost all top hotels in Hong Kong since December 2020, and yet, we keep coming back to Grand Hyatt for over 80 nights in 1+ years. *Rooms* All guest rooms are very spacious, even the basic room type which are of over 40M2. The view of the harbor view rooms overlooking the Victoria Harbour are spectacular. The Deluxe Harbour Room and Suites will offer 180 panorama sea view. The room is very clean and decent, each equipped with bathtub and 55" TV and all the amenities needed. We brought Apple TV and Chromecast for TV streamlining and the connections are very smooth. While we are very picky in selecting hotels, I personally find the rooms in Grand Hyatt up to my entire satisfaction as compared to other same level of hotels around the world. *Food* There are abundant choices of restaurants in the hotel and we essentially don't need to go anywhere to look for food during our stays. The quality of Teppanroom is top notch as compared with the same level of teppanyaki restaurants. Buffet in Grand Café offers great variety of food with high quality. One Harbour Road is a Chinese restaurant and we love the food and environment there. Grissini offers authentic Italian cuisine through we would love to see more variety in the menu. Tiffin provides very relaxing environment for gatherings. *Service* Having stayed in Grand Hyatt for many nights in the recent 1+ years, I never have a complaint on their service. While more and more people are going staycation now, some hotels could not cope with the surge in volume of customers, and the result is long queues in front of the check-in counters. However, we never encountered such problem in Grand Hyatt even before we became a Globalist (when there's designated counter for check-in). I'm sure the management has done a lot of planning and adjustments to ensure the best experience of the guests. *Grand Club* The quality and service of the Grand Club worth special compliment. My husband and I are very impressive of the high standard of service provided at the Grand Club both at the service counter as well as the Grand Club lounge. Staff there are always friendly and welcoming. They try their very best to uplift the experience of the customers, and we are impressed by their passion and hard work. While there are very high occupancy on every weekends, we noticed that some staff at the Grand Club are working from early morning till late evening. Yet, their service level has never let me down. Commendation should be given to the whole team at the Grand Club, especially Karly and Scott who manage the Grand Club. They did a great job in leading the team to provide unfailing service to club floor customers. Karly always endevours to meet and exceed guests' needs in relation to various guest services of club floors, and we are always well taken care of with issues resolved smoothly through Karly and her team. I would also like to give commendation to Scott who manages the Grand Club lounge. He is always passionate and attentive to the guests, making each of the guests feeling welcoming like a VIP. While we are also Diamond member of the Shangri-La Circle, we inclined to stay in Grand Hyatt during weekends as we feel like homecoming each time staying there. Commendations should also been given to Scott and Karly's team members, namely Rachel, Derek, Jon, Viki, Charis, Maggie, Wing and all other team members. Great job!

It was the first time we stay at Grand Hyatt. At first I was told by my friends that this hotel is quite old. I did some research and it was renovated not long ago. We booked a harbour view room and the view was stunning. The room was well maintained. The mattress was firm but not hard. It would be a bonus if there are choices of pillows. I would also prefer the hotel uses dispenser bottle of bath gel and shampoo at the bathroom There is a good choice of breakfast at Grand Cafe and staff services are excellent.

It’s unexpected to have only 1 washroom for a suite which was separated from the bathroom. Besides, it was quite difficult to seek lounge staff’s help and it seemed there’s shortage of manpower. Food quality esp breakfast session was very unsatisfactory.

This is a long overdue review- one of the gems we re-discovered during the pandemic was HK staycations. Over the last 2 years we have had numerous stays at GH with friends(and even treated ourselves to a Christmas stay in one of their suites). I would highly recommend GH as a luxury stay in Hk that is family friendly, and for the parents to unwind with good food & wine!. The staff on level 31 always makes us very welcome and accommodate our overly excited kids which is very appreciated. Special call out to Maggie and Scott on level 31, and Kylie on level 30 - it’s really like seeing old friends again. As always the rooms are so comfortable and super clean, nice fluffy towels. Just want to highlight the professional service from the staff at the weekend pool brunch - dealing with guests (who had too much sun & drinks), they handle the situation very professionally. The only improvement area I would suggest is the QR code booking/ virtual assistance was not very convenient, this should be made available to all the staff and throughout the hotel to access, we were told to go to level 30 to get the code when we were downstairs at the main concierge Look forward to seeing you all again Mike & Monique

We booked a club package for all 5 families and were surprised to feel unwelcome at the club lounge with our young kids whilst at the same moment refused access to a private meeting room for our meals. Our party were also disturbed when sitting in the kids lounge for a random cleaning service when another guest complained about the messy toys in the kids room. Unfortunately our money was wasted because we could not spend time enjoying our stay together as a group.
