There seems to be a growing trend of executive lounges doing double duty as a hotel bar. This is the case here. Unlike others, though, the Residence Lounge can be accessed by paying customers throughout the evening - even when guests are enjoying ‘happy hour’. The staff manage this well and they’re very accommodating. There is a selection of cocktails available but the bartender will make you pretty much any cocktail you like, as long as they have the base elements on hand. I enjoyed some very good Cosmopolitans to wash down the snacks, which included some excellent dumplings. After happy hour ends at 7pm, you can then move to a 2-for-1 offer until 8pm, then you pay menu prices until close.

The rooms here are functional and reasonably comfortable. Our bathroom was enormous but the shower cubicle was quite small. Toiletries are currently Jurlique and offered in large pump bottles. If you prefer a bar of soap, it’s BYO. The bed is quite hard, not unusual for Asian hotels. If you’re looking to cast content from your device to the TV, you need a HDMI cable, which the staff will happily supply. The means of connection though is not obvious and on-screen instructions were in Chinese. Again, if you need help, it’s on offer. Housekeeping service was perfectly good.

We made good use of the pool and gym. The pool is not glamorous, but the water temperature is spot-on. Sun loungers have decent cushions and you could do a lot worse. The gym is quite well appointed, although small - especially if you’re looking for space to workout with free weights.

Breakfast is not available in the club lounge, although there are some light sandwiches/cakes/snacks available during the day. All guests need to use East cafe on the 1st floor. It could benefit from some more variety over the course of a week, especially with the Asian dishes on offer.

All told, this is a very good option on Kowloon side, with great harbour views from the club lounge.

Service is still at tip-top for the residence club with smooth and personal check-in next to the harbour view and immediate serving with welcome drinks and snacks. Exceptional personal service from the guest relation staff in the residence club.

Well done to the team esp. to (Fong, Elvis, Cathy, Oscar, etc) that welcomed and took care of us during our stay. Thank You for spending time to share your experiences and your helpful hands.

A little improvement would make it better.

Breakfast is good and great and full of variety but the staff has to be more attentive, yes totally understand the busyness during the rush hour but with a gentle greeting or a smile will give a better value and comfort to your guests.

The room is spacious, neat, and tidy but still experiencing some issues with maintenance (even with a newly renovated room), the air conditioning wasn't able to cool the room after being moved twice in 2 days.

If GM is reading do drop me a note or email.

On Valentine's Day of this year, I made the decision to celebrate the holiday with my girlfriend at the New World Millennium Hotel.
It was the first Valentine's Day that I had spent with my fiancée, and I wanted to do something special for her. As a result, I requested the receptionist Lucas to make arrangements for a decorating service on my behalf, and the room turned out to be beautifully adorned. Juliette and Janice, the two amazing girls who decorated the room, are to thank since my partner appreciated it and found it to be a delightfully surprising experience.

When I made the reservation, I specifically requested a non-smoking room on a high level with a view of the ocean. The receptionist Lucas provided excellent customer service on the day of check-in. My accommodation was upgraded, and all of my requests were satisfied one by one, with the exception of the sea view. My girlfriend and I both got out of work later than expected, which meant that we were unable to enjoy the afternoon tea that we had initially ordered. Lucas showed a lot of consideration towards me. He made arrangements for the waiter to bring the afternoon tea to my room and provided me with sufficient takeout boxes so that I could pack up the tea and take it home with me the following day. As we had finished checking in, we were encouraged to head straight to the dinner buffet.

During that meal, everyone had a wonderful time, the food was amazing, and the most astonishing thing was that there was roast suckling pig for pleasure, but it was disassembled by other customers in an instant. Oysters are not included, which is the one blemish on an otherwise perfect deal. In addition, I would like to offer my praise to the very young waiter who served us that evening. He was always able to remove our plates as soon as we had done eating so that we could place fresh ones on the table.

On Valentine's Day, I got my girlfriend a bouquet of flowers that I had prepared. Lucas was quite generous with his help. Once the flower bouquet was delivered, he sent me a text message on his mobile phone to let me know it was there, and then he took it to my room in person. How nice it was!   My girlfriend was taken aback by this action; yet, it made her extremely pleased.

Overall, I had a wonderful time , and I have a lot of gratitude for Lucas, who made sure I had all I needed throughout my time off. I believe that if I ever had the opportunity to stay at a hotel again, I would choose this one, and I would not hesitate to suggest it to any of my close friends.

Recently, I stayed at the New World Millennium Hong Kong hotel twice in June. Thank you to the staff for their friendly reception, Especially to the front desk staff, EDMUND. He was very willing to help and responsible, making my partner and I have a very pleasant stay experience.

The location is excellent, very close to the East Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, just a 5-8 minute walk away. It's an 8-10 minute walk straight from the East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR exit. Very convenient. There are many eateries nearby, so you don't have to worry about finding late-night food.

Recently, during my stay, the bathroom flushing system suddenly broke down. I immediately called the front desk, and a repair person arrived at my room quickly to handle the issue. So it didn't affect my schedule much.

Recommendation for stay.

Stayed for two nights for business I had in a Superior room (standard room). When I booked my reservation said it included breakfast and had a King bed. However when I was checking in I asked to confirm these points but they told me I had a room with twin beds and my reservation didn't include breakfast. I showed them my reservation with the statement that said it included breakfast and they took my phone to look closely and take a photo of the reservation. Then I saw them talking to their manager and calling somewhere, but in the end they told me that the reservation still didn't include breakfast and that I needed to pay additionally to the quoted price. I didn't feel like fighting on this point any longer. Then I asked to be switched to a room with a King bed and they told me it will take an hour to get it ready. I said fine I will wait and I proceeded to wait in the lobby. After about 45 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask if it was ready and they said it is (they didn't call me) and when I went up to the room, it had two twin beds. I then proceeded to go to the front desk again to tell them and they looked puzzled but they then gave me another room key which utlimaetly had one King bed. All this time they apologized once but they didn't offer anything extra like an upgrade for me to be waiting and going back and forth which was dissapointing. The room itself is fairly nice on the surface but when you look closely, I could see that it wasn't cleaned properly as I saw some stains on the furniture and grime in the bathroom. The room is on the larger side for a hotel in Hong Kong but my room didn't really have a view, only a view of surrounding building. The daytime curtain didn't close all the way which would allow people in the building next door to see in, and the shower door didn't close all the way which caused water to spill out each time. These little things add up to make you feel that the room isn't as great as one would expect from looking at the picture on their website. Saying that , the hotel is located in a fairly convinient area with lots of resturants and shopping. So overall it's not terrible but my experience wasn't the best either.

I would like to thank Edmund for your help in arranging my stay this time. Thank you for being efficient and 101% well-arranged every time. So every time I want to rest and relax, I will only think of Millennium Hotel.

Counting it down, I haven’t been to the Millennium Hotel for a few months, because I have been too busy and stressed in recent months. Suddenly, I thought of going to the Millennium Hotel HEA HEA, and eating and drinking for a vacation. I believe that I will come back to Millennium Hotel in the future when I have space and want to have a relaxing vacation.

When I checked in this time, I found that there were more staff at the hotel door to greet me. Their attitudes and smiles were very friendly, and I felt that the hotel's image was even better. In addition to EDMUND, other staff are also very friendly when I meet them. For example, the staff at the restaurant where I went to eat BUFFET had a very friendly smile and asked me if I wanted to order a drink first. She was very attentive. The lady in charge of the omelette was very patient and smiling, which is rare, because In most hotels, the most busy person has no facial expressions.

When we went to the swimming pool/fitness room, several employees present were very friendly and smiling, and proactively introduced the fitness room equipment. I felt that they valued the guests.

In short, I will not be disappointed every time I stay.

I have been to many hotels in Hong Kong, and the Millennium Hotel has the best and most humane experience.

Already planning to stay at Millennium Food and Drink for a rest next month.

The hotel is a special place . Very well located in an area close to many restaurants and places to walk around . In front of the harbour where you can stroll around and see the lights of Hong Kong during night and also during mornings and afternoons see the beauties of the city harbour . The rooms are very confortable with all you need and in case you stay in front view rooms the view is spectacular . We had breakfast at the hotel and the restaurant is very organized with many different options of breakfast from asian taste to ocidental taste as well . In our case , as we are from South America we had the breads , muffins , croissants , eggs etc... All very frech and good . Mr. Jurgen Fung , the restaurant manager is extremmely attetious and he keeps the place organized and in very good order . At the hotel we have to tell that people from staff are all very nice people from the moment you arrive. Jackie from concierge was the first person we met . Very attentious and pleasant . The Guest Relation Manager , Mr. Edmond Tso was extremelly attentious with us as well . If you ned anything you can ask for him and he will do his best to make you feel confortable. Another person we liked very much was Mr. Raymond Woo from concierge who gave to us so many hints about Hong Kong that we could move by subways without any fear . New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel is the best place to say in Hong Kong for sure .

All the staff are courteous and approachable and credit to the team for helping us transport our luggage on foot from a nearby street to the hotel because on Christmas eve the only road into the hotel was blocked off to our surprise and we were frantically on the phone to them to see how we can bring ourselves and our luggage there (with 2 young children and 6 luggage). It was rather chaotic for any travellers to find themselves in after 10 hours of flight and wouldn't have thought your taxi can't drop you off at the hotel because of last minute blockade.
We stayed at the Elite Habour view suite and honestly the view was not as good as I had in mind both in the living room or the bedroom. The lighting in front of the mirror was flashing when it's turned on so we just turned it off entirely throughout the stay. The hotel is new and looks modern. The residence club breakfast buffet was very good with variety although afternoon tea was underwhelming and their level of service was exemplary and their banana walnut was mouth watering. We asked for milk tea which they didn't have but they kindly suggested to make us one with tea and milk. There were fruits like oranges but not cut so it's either you take one back to your room and try to find a knife and cut it yourself or ask for help. The staff there was very kind to help us cut it at the lounge so the kids can have some fruit there without us making a mess at the table.

The special thing about this hotel is I think is mostly attributable to the exemplary service. Frankly if coming for the view at the habour view suite it would disappoint. Perhaps other suites will be better.
3 Stars for the view, 4 stars for the stay and 5 stars for service.

We have reserved the room through its official website, mentioning we are going to celebrate my mum’s birthday. The check-in process is smooth and quick, and the receptionist kindly helped us for a room upgrade, thank you for that. The room is cosy and nice, of course with a stunning harbour view. The housekeeping team is also very helpful, the extra bed service and adding all extra amenities are completed after 30mins we headed to room. Of course, most surprise us is the birthday cake surprise. Thank you Juliette and Elaine for drawing that birthday card and presenting delicious chocolate cake. We did enjoy the cake and enjoy the whole stay, my mum is so happy for that too. We will definitely come back in future.

We are spending four nights here for staycation attracted by its proximity to the Harbour side for morning walks. Their breakfast is the best vs hotel icon, Shangri-La, Royal garden and grand Stanford nearby. You may say that they are cost efficient and ESG friendly as well.

Breakfast buffet is simple, seats are spacious, you are being reasonably served by staff members with reasonable courtesy. Green salads are decent, clean and you could eat with comfort.

The hotel in fact could try promoting green breakfast for senior citizens with shower facilities open up to the after morning walks along the Harbour side leveraging on where they are located.

There are buses leading to the airport nearby. This is the most cost effective way.. you could search online “airport bus from Tsimshatsui East to the airport” or “MTR lines from Tsimshatsui East to airport in Hong Kong”. Hope it helps.

Dear Welshgirl63, thank you for your message. The hotel shuttle service covers few points around the hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui area, including Wing On Plaza which is just next to the MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, K11 Art Mall, Star Ferry Pier and Victoria Dockside. However, the service is temporarily suspended due to the current covid-19 situation until further notice. Please feel free to reach us should you have further enquiries.
