once arrive hotel valet man help us parking our car and doorman take the luggage very fast. while check in very pleasant staffs welcome us (two couples) and efficient check in and explain hotel facilities very details. also we spent one an a half in the horizon lounge very enjoyable and many choices drinks. Dinner we eating at Summer Palace which dishes very tasty and good services too. Qualify as Five ++ stars hotel..... Mr Robert Kuok and family run the hotel in a very high standard....thank you
Bringing my wife and kids to celebrate Mother’s Day! I give full mark to island shangri-la… Room: - newly renovated, stylish and super comfy. - the view was spectacular! - one thing I must highlight, this hotel finally got rid of the water kettle!!!! They have a water tap in room, super convenient for family visit, especially if you travel with baby! Service: Simply the best! - special thanks to senior guest relation manager Nicole Tang and GiGi. To my surprise, it is really family friendly hotel… they interact with my kids and introduce them to the teddy bears, Chef Sam and Tony! My kids were so excited and took lots of photos with the Giant teddy bear at the lobby! And my little girl really loves the hotel since there are Chandelier everywhere! - Horizon Club: highlight of my stay! all the team members were so friendly… you will be address by your last name once you walk in! Special compliment to Hayden, Candy, Leo, Felix, Hailey, Ronsa, Joyce, Sita, Jane, Geoffrey, Ella Kristy….. Each one I encounter was very attentive and Professional. To share a bit more of why I said this, when I was pouring myself a glass white wine, Leo approach and insist to help, when he finds out the wine is not chill enough, he ask me to allow him to change a new bottle for me, when I say it’s ok, I don’t mind, he said “ I have one chilled bottle just at the back, it will take no time !” And so I did and it does matter in fact! Now that’s what I call professional! He also spend sometime to introduce the wine to me, he knows he’s product! although the club is quite packed during Mother’s Day, you won’t find yourself being left out. In fact, the club team handle it very well, kudos to the club management team! - wine selection is generous too! The only thing I suggest, change your wine glass! It’s way too small! One funny thing was, before I decided to book this hotel, my friends would alway recommend me to try others like Mandxxxxx Oriental, Rosewxxd and etcs …. But after this stay, I’m telling them back they are wrong, I’m very impressed overall and they should all go and experience it by themselves!…

This is the second time to stay in Island Shangri-La. Received an email from the hotel a few days before check-in, since we arrived earlier than expected, the room was not ready, so we entered the Horizon Club first to enjoy Afternoon tea, front desk staff brought the room card to the Horizon Club and told me she arranged a room with a better view for me as she knew we celebrate wedding anniversary. When I got to the room, wow, Full sea view! The first time I stayed was a newly renovated sea view room , but the sea view is more partial, this time the scenery is really better than the last time! Although the room is not newly renovated, but it is well maintained, the room are full of classical beauty. All in all, All the staff make you feel at home! Especially thanks to guest relations team - Nicole, Gigi, Sarah, Reshma, Elvis, Hailey, Kaysie and also all staff in Horizon club!…
The customer experience has been fantastic with the organisation of my anniversary celebration and it is this level of service that I can always count on the staff to provide time and time again. Moreover the buffet (at Cafe Too) was lovely to dine at. I will be revisiting this place the next time I visit Hong Kong.

Happy to see the new set up in the layout of table , look spacious and full of Christmas atmosphere. Just been ISBK, would like to see a open cocktail bar also ar IsL. Cafe too chun gor made a prefect egg , we love it
The team at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong is considerate and caring. Knowing that we are celebrating our anniversary, they specially sent us a surprise gift. It is really happy and unforgettable. In addition, the swimming pool is open, because one side is 2 meters deep, and the staff and lifeguards will Special warm reminder to children.Because Christmas is approaching, there are beautiful decorations everywhere.
If I have to summarize my stay in Island Shangri-La (ISL) in one word, it would be "service". Of course one would expect this to come with any 5* luxury hotel but I have to tell you that's not entirely true out of my staycations experiences throughout these 3 years. Ever since the COVID and the lockdown, most major brand hotels in HK were running different staycation promotions to try to attract as many local residents as possible, and as a result the experiences received were a bit bland. I mean they were all great but more of the routine professional courtesy and lacked the personal touch. For example, we always celebrated special occasions with staycations and while most hotels would offer you perks like a small cake or a box of chocolate with a pre-printed card, ISL would have these, as well as sth more: upon check-in, their reception staff would come out with a LOMO camera and took a photo of us against a Xmas tree and had the photo printed out and presented in a hand-written card which was definitely more memorable than just a cake with a "Happy Anniversary" sign on it, and would be completely forgotten once it was eaten. The hotel already changed their theme to Xmas (it was 20th Nov then) which was also a pleasant surprise. And you could see nutcrackers and Xmas elves throughout the lobby and the restaurants. We got a staycation package through Klook and then decided to pay to upgrade to the newly renovated room which I think was worth the money. Of course the harbour view was not as nice as Grand Hyatt or Rosewood but you could still get a good view of Vic Harbour and the Wan Chai area. Food at lobster Grill and Bar was perfect and again their service was great. Overall I think our stay at ISL was one of the best experiences we had. Special thanks to Sarah who took our photos and Leo who arranged and kept us pampered in the Horizon Lounge.…
From check-in, restaurant arrangement, lounge service and greetings after check-out, the guest relation team including Nicole, Gigi, Sarah, Reshma, Elvis, Hailey, Kaysie gave me and my friend a great experience. They treat us as friends and concern about our needs. As the trip is for celebrating my friend's birthday, we are upgraded to the new renovated harbour view room and it is modern and comfortable enough for us to spend whole day in the room.
第一次入住港香 整體都滿意 呢個價錢包早餐、lounge同$1000 DC感覺都好值 因生日酒店安排了free upgrade去全新裝修海景房 景觀開揚 房間超新 超鍾意個飲水機 好方便🤣浴缸又好大 影咗好多靚相好開心❤️🏻感覺似去咗旅行 大部分職員都貼心有禮 係喺其他酒店比較少有的 又有生日蛋糕送 蛋糕比想像中好味！ 夏宮的職員也非常之友善有禮 點心好好食 好滿足🤤 係唯獨有一段小小令人失望的小插曲 FD staff係checkin時幫忙reserve了cocktail session、游水&早餐的timeslots 當時先知cocktail現時分4點&6點入場 大部分酒店都是劃一5點後@@ 明白酒店不想客人排隊先分時段 當時FD staff「確認幫我們reserve 6點」我們便先上去lounge食tea 食飽飽便在3點上了房間休息 3點幾時收到電話說原來6點已full 她看錯了 問我們介不介意改4點 我們因剛吃飽已不想太快又再去享用小食&酒 想照舊6點 但職員多番強調booking已full真的安排不了？？？如安排不了應直接checkin時通知吧 而不是令客人以為confirmed booking的1小時後才說 表達了數次不想改為4點後職員終於說可照舊6點 令人不禁懷疑會唔會係有好多高級會員想book 6點 先打來叫我們改時間 我地呢啲什麼都不是的客人就係咁被對待？🤣 職員態度都很好～只是安排上令人費解 來慶生也想開開心心only Just wonder if our booking was asked to be cancelled for more privileged member(s)?
