Brought my Daughter here for the challenge cup. Room is very well maintained and clean for its age. Service is very good and respect your privacy. Walking distance to shopping and 5 mins to mtr. Highly recommended for both business and family trip.

The Excesior Hotel is not very modern hotel, but they are doing some renovations now. Location is very convenience, near shopping center and also near MTR. You can find easily place to eat here. I got the old room. It is small but clean and neat. Very quite room and comfortable. I compared to my colleague's room the new renovated... More

Stayed here again for the nth time during our visit to Hong Kong this year. Rooms are what we usually expect. Very small but enough for a place to rest at night. Although a bit old, I still find it to be clean and okay. Staff are very professional and friendly. Location is the key to this place. MTR can... More

This hotel is lovely! The staff is helpful and always smiling. As it is in the centre of the city it is well connected to malls, shopping areas, offices and restaurants. The rooms are clean, and meet the requirement of a business visit. How ever they are small, a little out dated and could do with a makeover. Nevertheless my... More

I have stayed many times, not the most fanciest but location and services throughout the hotel are just what I am looking for. You will not be disappointed with the hotel from top to bottle. With the quick coffee shop beside the elevators to the excellent view, wine and food from the top of the hotel.

The hotel is a little old and tired and that's probably why it's undergoing refurbishment. The refurbished rooms are nice but there's a very strong smell of paint varnish that's probably toxic to health. We couldn't sleep the entire night and had difficulty breathing; we managed to change rooms to the older non refurbished rooms which didn't have any strong... More

Stayed for 2 nights, as part of an incentive group. Location is superb with Causeway Bay MTR just 2-3 min. walk away. Malls, shops, food outlets and other amenities surrounding the hotel. Had a room on the 24th floor, the view of the bay is priceless. Magnificent to say the least. The room itself is rather large with a king... More

Hotel location is very convenient to all amenities. Food choice aplenty around and a 24hr supermarket within 5 mins walk. Plenty of shopping places around the hotel and the subway is just a block away. Hotel staff are very professional and friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet.

Stayed here in Feb 2016 for business. I was checked in early and received a nice large room with a view of the bay...not as dark as my last visit. The room was quiet and nice to relax in. The bath was a bit strange with no bath curtain which meant a wet bathroom floor after each shower...they should fix... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
