Spacious room by Hong Kong standard. Room is well designed and make use every inch(or mm) of space in the room. Cozy and comfortable. I had a couple of family members over for a couple of hours visit before dinner(under 10 mins walk to a roomy local seafood restaurant) and nobody felt crowded. Surrounding area is convenient, self serve laundromat and MTR station(HKU) are within 5 mins walk. Local restaurants and international chain are all within walking distance(5 mins walk). I traveled to the West Kowloon HS railway station(Austin) by MTR under 30 mins, so convenient. Highly recommended.

The hotel had been arranged by our travel agent to give us a one night stay in Hong Kong after a 12 day Asia cruise. We were extremely pleased with the Hotel. Our room on the 19th floor was spacious, well equipped and had a great view of the sea. The bed was huge and comfortable The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed relaxing in the bar which had a happy hour with reduced prices. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of tasty food. The hotel's location towards the west proved to be very convenient with plenty of public transport options. Our favourite was the "Ding Ding" tram whose Whitty Street stop was less than 200 meters away.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay, making me feel welcome and valued as guest. The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast spread at "Malacca Cafe". The variety of options was impressive, and everything was freshly prepared and high quality. Additionally, the hotel provided strong and reliable Wi-Fi, which was essential for my stay. I booked a deluxe view and the room provided was indeed with a view of fairly far away buildings which made a lot of difference when you are trapped in a quarantine hotel. The room is spacious with a bed, desk, chair and seats by the window on one side and washroom, toilet and basin on the other side.
I really appreciate that food was still warm when left outside of the room. They knocked on your door to make sure you do not miss it. I was also surprised by their quality of food which in some instances were quite good such as the spaghetti with meat sauce and the fish braised with oyster sauce. The hotel made an effort to provide different kinds of food - spaghetti, rice, mashed potato, pork, fish, etc. They even have afternoon tea such as egg tart !
Towels and bed sheets are clean and not shabby. The moving chair and the seats by the window were comfortable.
The staff are responsive and helpful. When there is a request or if there are questions, guests are asked to do so through the hotel's dedicated whatsapp number. I also appreciate the effort made by hotel staff to deliver items brought to me by friends and delivery companies in just a few minutes.
The staff were polite and helpful when i checked out. Check out was efficient.
Overall i would rate this quarantine hotel high value for money and would highly recommend this.

I stay here for attending a conference. I come here at night. The location is good as it is near the MTR, HKU, convenient market, and is not far from some famous attractions. The staff is hospitable and the room is neatly with sufficient devices, e.g. air purifier, USB charger, fridge. The room is equipped with many light bulbs and is luminous.

We arrived early in the morning, and the hotel was kind enough to offer an early check-in. Under the new 0+3 policy, we have to do a PCR test every alternate days and the hotel is also nearer to one of the vaccination centers, saving us sometime to travel to the designated test centers. We also have to eat our lunch and dinner at the hotel with the food buying from the nearby restaurants. The room was reasonably big for 2 to dine in. The cleaner also did a great job in removing our left over takeaway boxes everyday. The roof top swimming pool is also nice. We regretted that we don't have the time to enjoy it. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Hotel Jen is everything a business (and family vacation) hotel should be. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful, and the rooms are large (certainly by Hong Kong standards), fresh and immaculately clean. I was able to conduct in-room Zoom meetings very comfortably and without any hassle, and the surrounding area offered many other coffeeshops to meet up with others. The Cafe Malacca serves up delectable Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine which should not be missed. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the JEN hotel in Hong Kong when attending an international conference. The JEN hotel is very conveniently located in a lively area with shops, bars and restaurants, and only minutes away from the HKU metro station. The hotel maintains very high standards regarding the rooms: Clean, a well equipped bathroom with an excellent shower and bath, a truly wonderful bed, a small, silent refrigerator, and well equipped desk/working place. The breakfast buffet is excellent. What impressed me most was the remarkable hospitality and kindness of the staff. Just before I was scheduled to be picked up at the hotel by a taxi to the airport, late in the afternoon, I was caught in a heavy rain shower, so I returned to the JEN hotel soaking wet. Without asking for it, the staff offered me the use of a room for two hours, to take a shower and change clothes, free of charge!

You can pay at the restaurant. There is no need to pre book. It is international buffet breakfast. But there is also Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. The restaurant is called Malacca hotel . Malacca is in Malaysia famous for its peranakan food. Peranakan is Portuguse Malay Chinese heritage culture.
There are a lot of eateries for local Chinese food.MacDonald is across the road if you crave for western fast food:)

As far as I know protests aren’t an issue, but the Coronavirus problem appears to be a serious one, and drastic measures are taken. Not sure what else to say...
As for transport, the easiest and safest way is the MTR (train) to Hong Kong station and the get a taxi from there . Or take the MTR from there as well to HKU Station, as the Hotel is right by one of the exits.
I have a couple of reviews for places around the hotel, and the restaurant in the hotel is very good, too. There certainly are many other places around the hotel and in Kennedy town that should keep you fed and watered!
