This time we highly recommend our accommodation in Hong Kong. It is not only close to the MRT station, but also has many restaurants nearby. It is very suitable whether you are taking the airport bus or want to take the MRT to visit Tsim Sha Tsui! In the most prosperous Kowloon district, only 7 minutes away from Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok, Woodland Hotel is a hotel recommended by many people. There are various business districts nearby, Temple Street Night Market is just a 5-minute walk away, and you can take the MRT to Ladies Market and Avenue of Stars. At the rooftop bar in the hotel, you can enjoy delicious cocktails and enjoy the night view of Kowloon at affordable prices. We chose the double room type, which is 36 square meters. There are USB and type C sockets available next to the bed, which is very convenient. There are coffee tea bags, lays potato chips and cola available for free in the room. The bath products provided are fragrant, and the large bathroom has a bathtub and shower, which is a surprise! The service at the front desk is very considerate. Elaine introduced the delicious food in Jordan and the transportation suggestions to different places. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Hong Kong!

The location of this hotel is fantastic - minutes away from the Jordan MTR station (with a bonus of the street level elevator being at the closest exit to the hotel) and close to many bus stops along Nathan Road and Jordan Road. There are restaurants everywhere you look, several 7-eleven shops nearby (handy to top up your Octopus card) and lots of ATMs nearby.
I stayed in a Grand Deluxe room with a queen bed which was fairly roomy. The room had a reasonable amount of storage in the wardrobe and drawers. The bed was on the hard side but was comfortable enough. I found the pillows to be absolute rubbish. The bathroom was fairly spacious with the shower in the bathtub and a shower curtain. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. There was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower but I didn't use them so can't comment on their quality. Word of warning - you might want to get along very well with the person you share the room with. There was a frosted glass window separating the bathroom from the bedroom - you can see someone using the toilet.
I had family members stay in Deluxe Rooms - both twin bed and queen bed configuration. I can recommend saving money and staying in the Deluxe Rooms - both the twin and queen rooms were bigger than my Grand Deluxe room. As another plus - neither featured a frosted glass window into the bathroom!
I also highly recommend checking out the rooftop bar. Drinks are pricey but the view is amazing!
Other pros - free bottles of water daily, there is a laundromat at the end of Cheong Lok Street (drop your clothes off early in the morning and it will be ready by that afternoon), easy walking distance to TST, close to Australia Dairy Company and Kai Kai Dessert if you enjoy lining up for your meal!

Chose this boutique hotel for the first time based on its positive online reviews. I was here for 4 nights in mid January before the Chinese New Year. Excellent location & accessibility. Food outlets & supermarkets everywhere!
- From Airport: Airport bus A21 stops near the street to Hotel Madera. Alight at the Nathan Hotel stop, walk forward two streets and when you see a pharmacy, look left and you will see Hotel Madera. - To Airport: Take the same A21 bus at the opposite side of the Nathan Hotel. Cross at the nearest pedestrian walkway and the bus stop is in front of Dah Sing Bank. - MTR Jordan station B2 exit is two streets away from Hotel Madera. Takes about 3 minutes if you walk fast (for Singaporeans' reference: Century Square mall to Tampines MRT) - Hotel lobby is ground level and access to room is via key card. Building is not wide so only four rooms on my floor with two very efficient lifts. Never a long wait! - Room is big and fits 2 people comfortably. Regular shaped and well designed with the comforts of a regular hotel: slippers, toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fridge, safe, iron, hair dryer, weighing machine, bathrobe, clock, desk, stool, chair, lounger, kettle, 4 cans of drink, 1 pack of chips & beverages, and at least 4 electrical points. - Bathroom and bed area is divided by frosted glass, not a wall. Water pressure is strong and the shower head can be detached from the wall for a more comprehensive wash. - Hotel is more than 10 years old so there were some stains on the curtain and carpet but not a big deal to me. - View is of surrounding buildings but these were quite a distance away so people can't see in. - Cleaning is done daily and standard was above average. Do remember to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door 'cos the housekeeper surprised and shocked me at 6am! - Hotel Madera's rate was good value compared to three other hotels in the Jordan area. More importantly, it fulfilled my request for a room at the end of the corridor. I was quite impressed with Miss FIONA WONG at the Front Desk. On Day 2 morning, I handed her a piece of paper with 3 requests to make my stay more comfortable as it was winter. We didn't exchange a word as she was attending to other guests and we only nodded at each other. In the evening, I returned to a room with extra blanket, a hard pillow and a heater.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return to Hotel Madera during my annual holidays in Hong Kong.

The hotel has a great location being located in Jordan very close to Temple Street market area where you can find a lot of restaurant in the surrounding. Also close to Tsim Tsa Tsui within 10 minutes walk. Staff is friendly, wifi perfect, gymn is located in the adjacent Madera residence.
The room I had was probably an old one, located in the lower floors and was a bit noisy at night, so if you have a light sleep could be a problem. Room was clean although it needs some renew as parts were old. Complimentary water was available in the room only at my arrival, never had after it...

Located only a 5 minute walk to Jordan station and across from Nathan Rd the area is good to access the shops/ train/ temple street night markets.
Rooftop bar has great views but drinks are expensive with a pint of beer being $22.50 Aus. This is also closed on a Sunday.
Smaller style hotel rooms in the double room were actually single beds not doubles.
We had two rooms they didn’t interconnect which was fine but there were only 3 rooms in total on our floor on the 23rd floor so very quiet.
Staff were friendly and housekeeping were attentive to any supplies that were needed.
Rooms need a better more thorough deep clean to carpets quite a bit of build up to the surrounds of the bed etc and unfortunately e en though non smoking ours had a residual smell of smoke. Some minor mold behind curtains/ side wall from the humidity/ moisture.
Air conditioned/ fast elevators.
Breakfast is a “on the go” this requires you to select what you want the night before and give it to reception.
Options very limited Coffee Tea Juice Need to write on there if you want milk or sugar or you won’t get any Either a plain croissant or a muffin. These are the only options no condiments either.
You also have to select a time you want it delivered so if you decide to sleep in you need to get up and answer the door for breakfast. No where for breakfast on site and many places don’t open till mid morning apart from McDonalds/ Starbucks which were close by.
If you like a buffet breakfast this is not the hotel to stay at.
Air con/ universal power points/ desk for working. Toiletries provided. Tea/coffee sachets provided with a kettle and room has a fridge.
Cons No breakfast on site No room service Rooms need a deeper clean bit of maintenance, curtains got stuck so hard to close/ couch in room splitting at seem.
For convenience it’s okay for location. Staff were lovely and maybe we were just unlucky with our room.
Checking in and out was very easy.

The only amenities are a toothbrush, toothpaste and small soap. Shave, comb (brush) and shower cap are charged. No hair wax, business hotel class. When I opened my closet, I found my bathrobe flung wildly in a corner. The front door of the refrigerator is broken and won't close completely. Minibar is free for the first time (can of water and cola), after that there is a fee. There are days when the price exceeds 30,000 yen per night in a deluxe twin and it is like this. Toilet is a regular tank type Western toilet bowl (does not have heating toilet seat or hot water toilet seat function)
Water is about 100 yen for 700cc, but juices are nearly 400 yen. It's about 600 yen like a gyudon.
Cash out is not allowed at the airport. I recommend finding a good rate in the city and redeeming it. In Haneda, it was 22 yen for sale and 15 yen for purchase. I didn't convert it into cash.
In Hong Kong, it is good to buy a transportation IC card. It's cheaper than a regular ticket. If you are over 65 years old, you will get a card that says you are a millionaire, half the usual price.

This time we spent four days and three nights in Hong Kong. We chose a local hotel in Kowloon District. The location is very good. There is a express station nearby. Lots of delicious restaurants There are convenience shops near the hotel, and basically every street The hotel has a half-buffet breakfast. After seeing it is also very refined. The room has a configured USB socket, and the front desk has a charging cable to borrow The bathroom is dry. The room has a luggage rack desk. No need to worry about buying too much. The toothbrush slippers are also provided with a good front desk service. Kowloon District is a lot of not yet to eat to visit the next time you go to Hong Kong must choose a tree hotel😍

We got a free upgrade to the Suite at 25/F which contains the amazing night view of Nathan Road. The suite has 1 king size bedroom and a single bedroom that was suitable for family stay. It is great that the bathtub and standing shower were separate and the bathroom area was large compare with another similar hotel in Kowloon. The hotel was located in Jordan, just took a few minutes’ walk from the Jordan station. Traffic was so convenient. Any buses from Nathan Road can get toward to Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. Temple Street around had many food choices and last till midnight. The Hotel includes restaurant and a sky lounge. The lounge located at rooftop and can enjoy the stunning night view of Tsim Sha Tsui. Semi-buffet breakfast was nice and the café environment was comfortable. I highly recommend the stay for this hotel to enjoying the city walk of Hong Kong. Thanks Elaine in front desk for arranging the transportation to airport and answering enquiries with detail explanations to us!

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is very high.
The geographical location is also good, very convenient and a lot to eat nearby.
Special thanks to Miss Kingsley, very patient and warm, she is also very attentive, the recent cold weather, actively ask me if I need a cotton pot, and then a waiter sent to my room. It was a pleasant chat and introduced some delicious restaurants, thank you very much!

Had a one night stopover in HK and chose Hotel Madera. Checkin was super fast. Room was available early and i was upgraded to a studio room which was very spacious, large bathroom with a tub and big shower. Had a bit of fun working the three shower taps but made for part of the fun. Booked with breakfast which is in the cafe on 3rd floor. Choice of eggs, some coldncuts, fresh juuce, cereal, coffee. Perfect. Bed was perfectly comfortable. Had electric blackout blinds which enabled a great sleep. Hotel is in famulous location. Easy access from airport on A21 and then metro 2 min walk away. Many restaurants nearby but thats not hard in HK. On checkout asked for an extra hour which wasnt a problem. Only down was that the room advertises free minibar which is 2 cans of coke and a packet of crisps but the little fridge doesnt get cold. 2 beers i had left in there didnt get cold enough to drink. Will select again.
