So I had my "journey to 30" trip last year for my birthday and decided to have my first out of country trip alone in HK. Since it's a solo trip, I had to research a lot and find an affordable guesthouse. I wanted to stay in TST so I started to search over the internet. I've been travelling locally... More

Booked to rooms for a 3-night stay with my family and regretted it. For the rate we have paid, we could have booked a decent hotel room instead. There's nothing great about staying in this guest house but it's location (near TST train station) and bus stop just across. You can easily get lost since the signage outside was confusing... More

If you're on a budget travel to hongkong, Taisan guesthouse is definitely the place to stay. The proximity of the location to various shops and train station is very convenient for first time travellers. The place is always kept clean by Ate Yolly, the caretaker. She is very accomodating and attentive to your needs. You can also cook your food... More

Stayed in this guesthouse with my family. We stayed in a room with a window facing the kowloon park. Room is small with cute comfort room but clean. Place is very accessible and very close to train station. Had a great stay and i will definitely comeback to this guesthouse,

Excellent location and accommodation, the room is very clean. Yolly is accommodating and she goes out of her way to be of assistance. Just a few walks away to mcdo, kfc, yoshinoya International supermarket and train station. Yolly is very helpful in giving recommendations and suggestions on what to do and where to go with the least expense. She made... More

Plan on moving many times and not having any room to move. Pictures are not to scale and appear bigger than they are. It's dirty and smells poorly! Owner will not work with you at all and will blame you for concerns you present to her! I don't recommend at all!!!

We loved our 5days/4nights stay at the Tai San Burlington. We had the quad/family room as our group was composed of four adults and 2 children. The bathroom looked small in the photo that Ate Yolly sent but when we got there, it had ample leg room and the shower tub though small was sufficient. The accordion door had no... More
