First thing I wanted to say is that the hotel is actually very small, which is very normal in hong kong (I was told its actually quite big already compared with other place). The hotel is located at the Jordan street(佐敦道). MTR station located just a few steps from the hotel and several bus stops located around the area. Very...

Stayed 5 nights in this hotel in Jordan street. The rooms are quite small as you dont have much space on the floor after putting down your luggage bags. The rooms are pretty nice and clean, the owner cleans up the rooms every time we leave the hotel which is a good thing as it would be all in order...

Stayed for 2 nights on a short stay in HK. The room was small but for was much nicer than another hotel in HK i had stayed in for a similar price. The staff's English was fine, and it is easy to get to using metro or a short walk from the Macau ferry terminal. I would stay here again...

The room is tiny, but has all the amenities of a hotel room. Was really impressed with the way the property owners have managed to fit in so much in such a small room. The room I stayed in had AC, TV, phone, side table, bed for two (thin people), attached washroom, internet, bottled water, towels, soap etc. The location...

My friend from Taiwan stayed here for 3 nights, I had joined in the room for 1 night stay. It's location is good, however, I much concern about the safety problem. This is because the area surrounding is old area. Also, they don't have security team in their property (normal hotel should have security team responsible for the security &...

A friend of mine recommended this motel to me and my friends so we booked without expecting much. Turned out that this is not only a comfortable motel, but also located strategically and near the subway. The owner was very friendly and helpful and even helped us to buy tickets to parks and attractions. The rooms are clean even though...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
