Very nice living experience, I lived here for about one month, the harbour view is attractive, there are many restaurants and shops around the apartment, and the exhibition station also nears the apartment. The room is clean, and spacial, totally enough for tow people, we sometimes cook by ourselves, cause there are also kitchen and cutlery. Strongly recommended.

Great location. Central to ferry and buses and the MTR a little further. Some close fast food places for a quick snack and some licensed restaurants around the corner too. A couple of delicatessens and small supermarket just a minute or two walk away. The room was clean and large. It was well serviced and very comfortable. The front reception were extremely polite and helpful, checkin and out was excellent. If there was an issue I would have to say the elevators are slow so be patient.

This is a really nice hotel. The location, the price, the size of the room! The facilitices, the staff ... I have zero complain on any of the above.
If I really have to pick one thing to talk about is the lift. They have 3 very small lifts, but only 1 of the 3 will go to your floor (and its a high building with 40-ish floors). So end up usually i will have to go 1 floor above or below, then walk the stairs.
Highly recommended

Nice place with good price, can see very great harbour view from the roof top garden. The plave is very close to convention center. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is clean and spacious, surely will book again.

I stayed at this place in spring 2012. It's a nice little place, fairly well appointed and equipped. The room view depends on the particular rooms you are in, but some of them do offer ocean view. There is a gym, but no free weight. There is also a laundry room, but it's somewhat expensive per wash (HKD15). One thing about the apartment though: while it's officially in Wanchai, it's in fact really close to the ferry and not that close to "central Wanchai." It's a bit on the north side. I personally walked and it took me a full 11 minutes to walk to the Wanchai subway station, and I am a fast walker. However, it's also within walking distance to Causeway Bay.

i booked the hotel because they say their room size is 45 sq mtr. its actually not bigger than 25 sq mtr. they follow different stds in hong kong it seems. this really killed it.
then the hotel website said all rooms are fitted with kitchen..nope..not at all. all the food we took for our lil chidren down the drain.
the bathroom are so small and crowded. and , they don't have locks, when with family and young children pl watch out.
we asked for extra blanket and bedsheet...not available.
there is no eating option in the hotel...their canteen was always closed..there is just 1 lift to service guest floors..
really really terrible experience.

Kapok has plush studio apartments - not bad in location (10 mins walk from cultural center and 5 mins from the wanchai ferry) - but restaurants are a short walk away (about 10 mins). There is a large store down below (to the lef tas you exit kapok) which is where I stocked up my food.
Cleaning is done every 2 days, the bath is well stocked, tv has loads of cable channels, plus there is a dvd player too.
Flooring is wooden and there is a gym in the building, plus a self service laundry (no need to buy detergent) . While there is a bus stop near the ferry, tram is a short walk away.
On the whole, a great place for 1 person or a couple to stay. Costs about 16,000 hkd per month. There also are sea facing rooms where you can see Hongkong harbour - they are a bit costlier, but I think worth it.
There is a restaurant, but it only serves Chinese food.

Kapok is located in the heart of Hong Kong - Wan Chai district. Plenty of good food, pubs and entertainment in the vicinity, yet apartment is located in a tranquil area by the habour. Rooms are spacious, service is warm and welcoming. Clean, bright, and well priced! Pinky, the sales director is willing to go the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable. Will certainly return here on our next trip !

Clean, comfy serviced apartment. Kapok operates about 20 units in the lower floors.
The lobby and apartment corridors look quite pleasant.
You realize you are housed in a rather old building only when looking across from the SHK Centre which is linked at level 2. Linked walkways to ferry, Wanchai MTR
and eateries are also on level 2.
Room is spacious with space well utilized.
Lightings and amenities are adequate.
Daily room service acceptable.
Supermarket and mini mart are downstairs.
With 43 floors the lifts are set to serve range of floors, resulting in only one serving my apartment level.
Oh the roof deck on 43/F is worth checking out.
tell taxis to take you to Wanchai Sun Hung Kai Centre, pronounced "SunHongKay Zongsum".

this should be a serviced apartment but not a quality hotel. We booked 2 nights here and were very disappointing!
Location - although it is located in Wan Chai, honestly it is not center of Wan Center and quite far from the Wan Chai MTR station with 10-15minutes walk and difficult to access if you are new to Hong Kong. There is no attractions and no good restaurants in surrounding. The nearest attraction is Exhibition Center with 7-10 minutes walk, this attraction is useless for us as leisure travellers.
Room - it is not worth what you paid. Design is old school. Bed is hard with smell. The room maintenance is very poor. I can find the stain on the sofa and towels. The bathroom is not up to hotel standard totally!!! We don't believe some reviews mentioned the room is spacious, it is small as same as other hotels in HK.
We just saw many Chinese travellers staying in this apartment during our stay.
I think either Business or leisure travellers have a better choice in Wan Chai area with this rate!

There are some chinese canteen and fast food for breakfast near our hotel.
