The room, located in a dingy building, is hardly enough for one person. approximately a 8x10 room which includes a bathroom. The lighting in that room is one 50 watt bulb. The rooms are infested with ants and other insects. They promise a host of services include basic toiletries and linen, none of which is provided until you insist repeatedly....

Location is easy to find. It's at the Central of Mongkok. Very near to Mongkok MRT, about 5 mins walking distance. Area is quite clean and safe. We were given the same room as per stated in picture. When we arrived, no one at the reception that we have to wait a bit. The bed is sufficient for all of...

Everything fine- could be a but cheaper for that small room. Location was good, staff friendly, bed confortable, really small bathroom, WiFi worked well, Entrance not that easy to find. Our room was on the 12th floor- elevator took a long time because the building was crowded the most of the time. :)

My room was on the fourth floor, so it was pretty easy to take the stairs - no elevator issue for me. The building is pretty shabby, but lively. I was down the hall from a gym and a couple of cafes. Though the walk up the staircase doesn't inspire much confidence, the hallway and the room itself were much...

My problema with this hotel crosses over 3 days and two different nights. I booked a double room with the Din Dian hostel on booking. Once we arrived at the building we realized that this Din Dian hostel and the Ho Mongkok hostel were the same thing. Until here no big of a deal. We paid the room and told...

My cousin and I stayed at this location for 7 nights; checked in on 26 March 2015 and checked out on 2 April 2015. Booking was done via Airbnb. Although known as "Ho Mong Kok Hotel", it actually operates as a "no frills" hostel BUT it is very conveniently located in a commercial building called Sincere House at 83 Argyle...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Ho Mong Kok Hotel and we are quite happy with our stay. Positive: Good value for money. We had a "big" bathroom (for Hong Kong) and two windows in our room. During the evening, the receptionist is really friendly and speaks english well enough to have good conversations with him. On the...

Good, central location. This is a guest house, not a hotel, offering no-frills accommodation solutions to travelers with some experience. WiFi works well. No meal options, but eateries, shops and restaurants all over the area. Close to night market and Mongkok MRT station. Pretty good value for money, would stay there again.

Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
