Soaring over Victoria Harbour, Rosewood Hong Kong is a new centre of gravity on the Kowloon waterfront; the crown jewel of the Victoria Dockside arts and design district. On passing the gate and traversing the cobblestoned drive, the urban din falls away, revealing lush topiary and a serene forecourt that commands the harbour. I go to Rosewood HK often and there is a very good reason. Not only is the place beautiful and always a good time, the service is an example of detailed training and real passion among the teams that make it all happen daily. Special shout out to Subi of Darkside, Jorge, Ambika, along with team at Bayfare, Manav and team at Chaat, everyone at BluHouse, Luke and team at Holt’s Cafe Theodora at front desk, and so many more for always being so wonderful and welcoming. This place and its people are really deserving of recognition. Oh and also the food and drink are always amazing.

We stayed here for one night. We arrived slightly earlier than nominated check in time, but our room was not ready. When it was ready, our bag was already delivered. It was a big spacious room and with its high floor location, we had an excellent view of Kowloon and the peaks beyond.
There was a big double bed, long sofa and tea / coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable enough, and the sofa was good for lounging. A kid’s bed was set up by the hotel for extra sleeping space for them.
There were modern TV facilities where you could connect your computer to stream your content through AirPlay or chromecast.
The bathroom area was large enough to house a double shower, a stand-alone bathtub and two sinks. The tiling and sanitary ware finishing were of high quality. There were plenty of towels and toiletries for our use.
The toilet closet was outside the bathing area and tucked into the the corner of the large changing area. The toilet had a heated seat function that was convenient.
The room had enough water for us guests (Evian in glass bottles), and more was available on request.
We received kids colouring books from the hotel on request, and additional toiletries and bathrobes etc from housekeeping was delivered fairly quickly after calling them up to ask. Overall service throughout our stay was courteous and faultless.
Our package included a meal and a breakfast within their restaurants and we ate at Holt’s cafe for dinner and breakfast.
Dinner was a set menu.
Breakfast was semi-buffet. The buffet quality was good but it could have had a bigger choice and the bacon provided for the main course could’ve have been more substantial then two thin caramelised strips of meat. The evening dinner meal was a set menu; the food tasted fine and service was polite without being exceptional fine dining standard.
The swimming pool was relatively big but for the size of hotel and current pandemic condition it was oversubscribed by guests. The biggest feature is that it’s an infinity pool overlooking the harbour, so most people are taking their Instagram photos rather than swimming.
We briefly visited the gym, which was was full of modern equipment. It is fairly big but again, I could foresee it being busy at certain times.
So this is a luxury hotel, with good service. The rooms are large and comfortable, but facilities may be small in relative to the guests the hotel can accommodate.

If you want to visit one of the newest and best hotels in Hong Kong, I highly recommend Rosewood. We booked a staycation there amidst the Coronavirus crisis, knowing most facilities would probably be closed and we would likely be confined to our room. They called us well in advance to give us an update of safety measures, offering additional dining credits to make up for the closed facilities, which we appreciated. It's a spacious hotel housing lots of art pieces. The room was great with exquisite and artistic decorations and thoughtful amenities. Double shower, double basin with a huge bath tub. The room came with access to all the services provided by the hotel's Manor Club, which included breakfast, afternoon tea and evening coctail. The Club is open around the clock and its venue overlooks the harbour. We spent lots of time there. They stock plenty of art books and readings of interest in the club area, which I particularly enjoyed. We requested two yoga mats to be used in the room and they happily complied. The team of staff were professional, efficient and dedicated. I really couldn't think of any point on room for improvement. During our stay, we tried the Legacy House, the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and Bayfair Social, which is Spanish, and found the food offered in Manor Club the best! We used the promotion package offered by Rosewood and paid about US$1,100 for the room for three nights.

Booked Rosewood HK for a 1-night staycation package at a Harbour view room as it’s very attractive with lowered room rate plus daily breakfasts, minibar credit, lunch/tea and K11 gold membership voucher/credits.
Yet, the experience had started off on the wrong step as email communication with table reservations has been a disaster.
Having asked reservations to help book a table for lunch at the Henry on the checkout date, they misunderstood the date as check in date and then when clarified by email again, there was no reply until after checked in. Even at check in, the reception didn’t have any information about by request. And when the reception staff tried to help make the booking, he was unable to reach the restaurant booking staff for more than 10 minutes without anyone picking up the phone. Finally about 5 mins after we entered the room, I got the email from reservations and could confirm the lunch at check out date.
The room had a very good size of 53 sqm with double sink, double shower, bathtub, wardrobe area and great branded amenities. Most importantly, the view was magnificent overlooking the Victoria harbour and causeway bay, tst east and hung Hom areas. This is a totally different harbour view when it is not as busy with lights as view towards central area.
They also supplied good amount of charging facilities including a charging cable but unfortunately it didn’t work. So we called for cable replacement but we found that it was not replaced even after 2 hours when we needed to call again.
We had lunch at Holts cafe and dinner at Bayfare social where food was great. However, as the earliest time we could book for dinner was 2030 and that we could only get our table at around 2045 while the government restricted dinner until only 2200, by the time we ordered our appetisers and main dishes, the staff told us that it’s last order time that we had to order quickly our desserts. Due to shortage of time, we were in great rush dining and it was not a good experience.
On the next day, we went for breakfast at Holts cafe at around 1030 and we had to wait for 30
mins before getting into the cafe after a long queue. Would appreciate the management to reconsider opening more venues for breakfast and getting more staff to help shortening the queue in future.
Overall, the hardware of the hotel was magnificent yet the service all-round needs to be improved.

My friends and I stayed at the Rosewood Residences (serviced apartments) for a staycation over the weekend. I arrived late in the evening and immediately upon entering the property, the guests knew my name and escorted me up to the 53/F for a quick and seamless check in.
I was also impressed with the variety of room service available to the rooms (a wide range of eastern and western dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner). What I found most comforting was a nice warm bowl of Chinese soup at the end of the day. The team throughout the Residences and the hotel are extremely helpful and attentive to your needs. One of the chefs at Asaya Ktichen saw my friend and I got lost on the way to the spa, and he stepped out of the kitchen and kindly took us to where were needed to go.
We originally tried to book Chaat, their new Indian restaurant, but unfortunately was booked up all the way till Sept (so book early if you are considering this resto!), so we ended up trying their steakhouse, Henry, instead, which did not disappoint. The venue is spacious (definitely 1.5 meters away from other parties), and my favorite dish was the red prawn pasta (get the large, you won't regret it).
Amenities-wise- the Residences apartment has everything you will need and more (tons of storage space, even if you are coming for a long stay). Forgot your iphone charger like me? They've got you covered. Lastly, don't forget your swimsuit (or you can just pick one up at Asaya), because the Residences pool is definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Harbouring View Room to celebrate Mother’s day and our anniversary. The interior design and furnitures are stylish and chic. We love the stunning Victoria Harbour view inside the room so much, both daytime and at night.
We weren’t sure to bring the 1.5 yr old baby or not, but Rosewood had prepared more than what we could imagine - not only the bathing tub for baby, but also the baby shower gel, shampoo and even kid toothbrush! What’s more, there were crayons ready on the table for her to spend her time. So considerate and touching! Double shower heads, large bathtub and Toto washlet all available at the same time undoubtedly made our stay extraordinary.
The infinity pool is also with amazing view and it became full house very quickly. If you like sunshine you definitely need to go there in the morning, otherwise evening would be better for you to enjoy the view with shades.
We got access to the Manor Club in our package. The outside scenery is relaxing and we like the decorations inside as well. Staff were nice and attentive. I have always found my champagne refilled timely when we played snooker and we enjoyed the afternoon tea there.
When we checked out the room, Edmond learnt hat we would go to Bayfare Social for dinner. He quickly offered his recommendations on the cuisines. It was nice to have tips as we had no ideas what to choose beforehand. Braised short rib and four cheese and truffle flat bread were finger licking good!
Many thanks for the hospitality by Inis the guest services manager to us! Being passionate and fast to respond, you helped create an unforgettable experience for our stay here!

The other day, my partner and I took an invite from our daughter to treat us to a staycation at Rosewood. What a sensational experience. From the time of arrival to our checkout, we were pampered by exceptional services from professional staff members, from any position. We are upgraded to a Harbour View Room, designed to pamper and fulfill any desire of anyone well-traveled person. What a luxury and so friendly in use. For us to be there for a special occasion, the hotel surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake. The room has all the possible amenities one needs and besides great bedding, the bathroom is so well designed and executed. Our dinner and breakfast are taken at the Holst's Cafe. The service is a pleasure. Not to forget the beautifully designed public areas, the arts, the reception, the room corridors, all executed to perfection. The infinity pool, the sunbeds with large towels coupled with the stunning views of Kowloon and Hong Kong. We thank you for our experience, which is all engraved in our memories. Bravo, Rosewood Hong Kong, you are unquestionable a five-star hotel.

The Rosewood HongKong spared no expense in Architecture, Interior Design and Furnishings .
The end result is a hotel that leaves a deep impression long after one’s check out.
Entry point: a private drive way leading to the Hotel’s entrance, high class to an extent that has not been seen in HK.
Views: Everywhere around the Hotel one has angles to admire the million dollar view
offered by the Victoria Harbour. (tips: Check-in Lounge. DarkSide Bar. Hotel
Entrance . Bayfare Social balcony. the Rooms)
We enjoyed connecting rooms as HongKong starts to relax a little on the pandemic measures. The staff are friendly and helpful but they may still need a bit more practice and training. No big issues about that.
But the Interior of the Hotel itself and of the Rooms is matchless, and worth more than the room rates I feel .
No detail is not thought of, one is immersed
in ultra luxury without being in a loud or opulent environment . The doors are made of solid wood; the room windows offer panoramic views, the bathrooms and twin showers oh my. All the rooms are spacious to a fault and the ceiling is high.
Come and see if you don’t feel the same .

I spent one night at Rosewood for my birthday staycation, it was the best experience I have ever had in HK. Hands down the best hotel in HK. I did not inform the hotel that it was my birthday beforehand, I only told the reception when I checked in. With such short notice, they managed to offer me a complimentary cake. The room is spectacular, the bathroom is breathtaking with two separate shower outlets which is thoughtful. The in-room breakfast is not the best I have had but all in all a truly remarkable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the ocean view room. The Hong Kong Victoria harbor ocean view was spectacular. The child assisted tools had been all well prepared when we entered the room, including the small steps for reaching the sink, the soft child toilet seat and the extra bed for my 4-year-old daughter. The room is spacious even with an extra bed, the kid had so much fun in climbing and jumping around.
You won't be disappointed with the shower room, which was spotless, gorgeous and bright.
All the staff were kind, polite, smart and very helpful.
Thank you rosewood Hong Kong.

An incidental sum amounting to 1 night of the room charge will be held in my credit card and released on my settlement of all payment on check out.
You would need to either book a Club Room or book any suites which also grants club access. However, my clients can receive an upgrade at the time of booking. happy to help if needed.
Hi Victor, Thanks for your message. The view is different. Harbour View Rooms boast expansive water views, spanning Causeway Bay to East Tsim Sha Tsui. And Grand Deluxe Harbour View Rooms boast peerless, 180-degree of Victoria Harbour. Hope this helps. Have a nice day!
