The hotel was good and well located between wan chai and causeway bay mtr (about 10 mins walk). Also note that it is nearer to causeway bay mtr. The room was a little small to walk around but it didnt pose a huge problem. However, the aircon was very cold which made us turn it off being going to bed,... More

Great location, fast check in & out, room is okay and clean. If you only need a bed to sleep and don't need to stay in the room, perfect. Had to go to the convention center and it took me 10 minutes walk, perfect. Around the hotel good eating places, cheap and fast.

Like many of the boutique hotels in this part of Hong Kong, you have to be paying attention as you walk down Lockhart road to find the Wifi hotel entrance--even after finding it for the first time. You take the elevator from the tiny ground floor lobby to an equally small reception on the 2nd (1st) floor. The front desk... More

I have stayed here several times. Great location - between Wanchai and Causeway Bay, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and MTR. Convenience stores right next door. The hotel itself is clean, efficient and well managed. Staff very friendly and helpful - with fast, professionalal check in. The room I was given this time was considerably smaller than on previous... More

1st time ever in Hongkong reason choosing this hotel as it near to Halal Dim sum @ Islamic Muslim Canteen located inside the Mosque. Asking for upgrade room but they just upgarde to Higher floor. The room was clean but the bed a lil bit hard for me, the wifi very slow. The staff at the Front desk could communicate... More

Overall excellent stay and service from the staff, especially the Front Desk Agent Location is good at the heart of town and I guess you could say sightseeing as well. Outside the immediate there is much to go if you want to go out for a late night stroll.

The room was freezing, there was a setting dial but it didn't work. Couldn't sleep due to the cold. Wifi was slow. Staff reminded me if stayed more than 15 mins after 12pm check out it would cost HK$200 and another HKG$200 for every hour or part thereof. I think the room was overpriced for what you got but it... After our alarming check in at South China Hotel, we hurriedly all hopped on our phones and laptops to find a different hotel to check in on the same day. Wifi Boutique was the only one that came up that had availability, wifi, and fit within our budget. It was the last room they had available, 2202, which only has... More

"Wifi Boutique Hotel (Hong Kong) is committed to providing you with an experience that is unparalleled in comfort and unmatched in service" I only can wickedly smile, reading this statement on the website of the hotel. Unmatched service, maybe - if they compare it with a prison camp. During my check in I was reminded about the East German Border... More

Surprisingly quite a large room in Hong Kong Island, moreover in Wan Chai area. For those who would like to spend more time in HK island, this is quite a good choice. And it's near to Causeway Bay. And quite a number of famous Cha Chan Teng (tea shop) is at your footsteps. And if you want to try the... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
