Had a wonderful 10 week stay. Bilingual front staff were very handy as hubs speaks English, I speak cantonese. Fast check in. $2000 refundable deposit given.
Got a family/ deluxe room with 2 queen beds as we haveb2 toddlers.
Breakfast was great. Buffet. All the staff at breakfast were amazing, especially the egg chefs!
Slightly repetitive with items but kids are fine with cereal every morning.
Room was big. Got a view of the racecourse/ football pitch/ tennis/ squash courts. Very clean, shower/ bath setup was amazing. Loved the hidden rainfall shower head.
Cold air con was a god send! It's so muggy. We probably stayed in the hotel more than out as it was so humid.
Beds were comfy.
Miss Luk (house keeper/ domestic) was amazing to us. She made sure we had enough towels/ toiletries during our stay and was so friendly with the kids.
Would definitely be coming back, but when the kids are older!

The room is big by HK standard and definitely make the 7 days of quarantine much easier.
Saw many people complained about things like the bed and stuff being wrapped up, but I had no issue with it as this a a government requirement plus it actually make the bedding safer in a pandemic setting.
Was surprised to see a heater in the room in the middle of the year in HK. BUT is an essential item because the negative pressure aircon in the room means the room get pretty cold especially if you are going to work at the desk provided. There is an air purifier in the room near the door (to clean any air coming into the room when you open the door, be it for food, delivery, RAT/PCR test,etc) and a few along the corridor as well to keep risk of inflection to the lowest possible.
With its location in CWB that means you get a lot of good options for ordering food (sorry but the catered meal cannot compare to the outside food🤣). And typically the food is up at our door within 5mins or so after the app show that it have arrived at the lobby. There are complimentary fruits or cake send to the room by the hotel every other day or something which is nice.
Thanks Mink and her team for answering the tons of questions my mum had and making her less worried and stressed.
Overall I think the services provided is pretty good one way or another help make our stay a pleasant one.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had an excellent experience throughout out stay. Excellent breakfast every morning with friendly and highly efficient staff. Rooftop bar is highly recommended where you will also receive a lovely welcome and prompt service. Location is perfect - less than 5 minute walk to MTR and if you fancy taking a ride on the trams you can get off the tram just outside the hotel. Will definitely return to this hotel on next stay in HK.

Don't be fooled by the pictures posted on the hotel website, they must have taken those 30 years ago, this hotel is so dated, everything is breaking down.
Picked this hotel for the quarantine stay and it was a disaster.
The room was smelly, especially the toilet, the sewer gas smell is persistent. The bed was so uncomfortable, they wrapped the mattress in cling paper so not only will you sweat up when you sleep on it , the mattress is so worn out that it sag in the middle, guarantee you'll get a back pain.
The pillow cases were doubled up, but the cleaning lady doesn't change the bottom layer, it's disgusting.
This hotel ain't cheap. They force you to take the meal plan and for 600HKD per day, the meal plan is inedible. Breakfasts and lunches were all carbs, the meat were dry and overcooked. I end up ordering take outs which totally defeat the purpose on this mandatory meal plan. Waste of money.
The nightmare continues when the air con broke down and made loud noises. The bathroom sink was clogged up and the dirty water was forced up by the pressure to hit the ceiling and make a big mess in the bathroom. No one came to clean up after.
When you complain to the manager, you get a 9USD bottle of toxic red wine, sweet!
I've said enough, you get the message, for 250 USD per night, get your money worth elsewhere.

The worst IHG experience that left me in doubt if this was indeed a IHG property or a 3 star rated hotel. Customer service 0%, Cleanliness 0%, Efficiency 0%. Overall experience and stay was a disaster, especially post covid when everyone globally has been advised prioritizing cleanliness.
We stayed 5-Nights in this property and 1st time in HK. Day 2 when we met and requested housekeeping to clean the room and we even placed the make up room sign on the door knob. That evening when we came back it didn't look like the room was cleaned properly. Facial tissues were not replenished. In the washroom, toilet paper was not replenished. Used toiletries wrappers were just left in the bath tub. Day 3 room was cleaned the same manner. None of the mentioned items were replenished. Washroom room mirror was still with full of fingerprints, not wiped and dusty.
Day 4 we ate some grapes, drank coffee and the balance we left all the empty dirty hotel cups and left out for the day. When we came back only the beds were made and towels were changed but to our horror the dirty cups and glasses were still not washed. They were looking so dirty and filthy. Toilet paper was empty and tissue box empty. We first called the front desk to inform and was told only sometimes housekeeping cleans. We were shocked at the answer. We requested to speak to duty manager then front desk a lady informed that she will get housekeeping to come over. Housekeeping came and washed the coffee cups but the dirty grapes cups were still not washed, That was when we took pics and went down straight to the front desk and spoke duty manager Nigel. When we explained the incident he laugh at first then advised that he would bring the housekeeping manager to the room. They came to the room and took pics but in the end still the dirty cups were not cleared. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, least expected from an IHG property.
We were absolutely shocked and totally lost of words and decided never to ever stay in a IHG property again.

Embarking on a journey of 3 1/2 hours flight, but to explore the destination will have to endure 14 isolating days of quarantine. Fortunately I’ve selected Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Was greeted by a very understanding receptionist who helped to house me in my desired room. Although I’ve not met any other host, my calls and request are promptly attended to with the warmth voices on the other side of the Service Center line. My request to open a window was rejected for safety reason, however, Manager Leo complimented this with daily fruit. The whole experience being quarantined in Crowne Plaza is very comforting and warm (without seeing anyone). This is a hotel I would definitely return, hopefully in better times.

Last but not least is the performance of all cleaners and make up service. We especially thank to the lady who cleaned the front desk table and our chairs when we first arrived at the hotel on the 8th April. She was very careful, tidy and polite.
Improvements can be made e.g. the hotel could send 2 pieces of cake to us even we ordered only one set of meal everyday, this will show the hotel is really generous. Tea bags and coffee bags can accompany with the food each day so that guests do not have to call and to trouble the room service again.
Overall our quarantine period in the hotel was comfortable and very satisfied!

Four- or five-star hotels in Hong Kong are always, in my experience, very good. What does it take to make one great? Try travelling with limited mobility after breaking your ankle and have every staff member you encounter do everything they can to assist. The standard of the accessible room made the stay relaxing despite the use of a knee scooter. Add to that a Food and Beverage staff who deliver delicious food and drinks with polished professionalism and warmth (particularly in Carver and Club@28) - taking their cue from their leader, Curzio Coculo. A special thank you to him for his personal interest in making our stay wonderful.

Stayed here for several nights and it was a good experience. Generally clean and comfortable. Washrooms had a perpetual sewage smell though. Housekeeping was quite relentless on insisting on cleaning the room every day, they would even chase you down the hallway. Hotel staff were friendly, albeit a bit frank. Gym was nice, with great views at the top floor and newer equipment.

We stayed for five nights, in two rooms each with two single beds. The rooms at the same locations (facing Happy Valley) but of different levels. We didn't use any facilities so can't comment on its adequacy.
We chose the hotel for its proximity to the buzz of Causeway Bay such as Times Square. There is a tram stop right in front and we used it all the time while returning from Central and Wan Chai. This would save you lots of walking in the long underground passage from MTR Causeway. There are also plenty of HK style cafes, a McDonald, a Fusion supermarket nearby so F&B choices are very much available.
Travelling from HK station (Airport Express) by taxi cost HKD72 on a weekday afternoon, and that's because we have four pieces of luggage.
The only minus point would be the lack of elevators. Only three serving 20+ floor so sometimes there could be a long wait

Please note that our fitness facilities have been relocated to 5/F Breeze. A variety of fitness facilities is available which include Treadmill, Cross Trainer, Rowing Machine and more. The opening hours of 5/F Breeze is 5am – 12 midnight daily (weather permissible).
