The Harbour Grand Hong Kong garners appreciation for its exceptional service, with guests highlighting the staff's helpfulness and the benefits of club access. Its prime location near transport and attractions is also a major draw. While the hotel's cleanliness receives commendations, the presence of dated decor is a recurring note.
Room sizes and views at the hotel are praised, but some guests suggest a refresh is in order. The amenities add a touch of luxury, though opinions on value vary, with some pointing out higher charges for specific services.

Stay at the Harbor Grand Hong Kong Hotel. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Its location is extremely convenient; it took no more than 15 minutes to get to the places to visit by taxi, which is very comfortable. The entrance area of the hotel is very elegant and beautiful, you feel like you are in an opera house. High ceilings, marble staircases, and crystal chandeliers create the ambiance of a luxurious ballroom. We were checked in very quickly, the only thing was that they didn’t tell us where breakfast was, and in the morning we had to find a restaurant on our own. The food was varied, some items were especially tasty (hash browns, and fried red fish in teriyaki sauce), everything was very European, but there was also a different cuisine. We also ordered from room service, the food was very tasty and of high quality, and the service was fast. Daily room cleaning. And now about the room itself, we had a corner room with a beautiful view of the city. I liked the atmosphere and comfort, everything was in its place, a soft large bed, and this hotel provides 12 types of pillows to choose from🤩 The hygiene products are high quality and have a very pleasant jasmine scent🌸 Everything is clean and good) I would like to note that the hotel has a deposit of $400; upon check-out, everything is returned sealed) I definitely recommend this hotel for visiting☺️ Below I will attach photos from the room)

We were impressed by the exterior upon arrival but due to being fully booked couldn’t get to our room (it was early), they did allow us to utilise the showers so we could change as we’d had a very lengthy flight & no sleep, storing our cases in the interim.
The interior is stunning with ornate chandeliers & a beautiful harp that was played of an evening.
We retuned at 12 & were allocated room 3615 which afforded amazing views across the city, the room was very well appointed, it even came complete with a multi adaptor phone charger & if travelling from the UK, no adapters needed for electrical appliances as 3 pin plus like us,the shower was excellent, only niggle was lack of coffee mate for coffee/tea.
The room was equipped with a safe, dressing gowns, fridge & hairdryer & lovely toiletries, with an electric blind to give you some privacy from the plate glass window separating the bedroom & bathroom.
The bed was lovely & comfortable but the air con was a bit too noisy. The lifts are fast & plenty of them & if you take the lift to floor 41 & walk up another flight to the rooftop you can secure spectacular views of the city.
Concierge are helpful & secured a taxi for our return to the airport as it was too early for the A11 bus, this cost us 390 but they quote 450 depending on time of day. We did catch the bus to the hotel, it was so easy to use & worked out at £4.20 or 41.90HK$, but its exact money only or card only with 1 card per person, you alight at electric road or stop 19 or also Fortress Hill just look for the shell garage & you’re only 2 blocks away! If visiting HK again, would definitely stay here!

The only nice thing about this hotel is Concierge Maria. A wonderful woman who helped solve all the questions that arose and advised on very useful things. Thank her so much, God forbid health and wealth!
The hotel itself is very medium. The rooms are murdered, the normal view from your room is not guaranteed, on the booking they have very beautiful photos, in fact you can get into a room with a view to the wall! And there's no way you'll know that beforehand. We had to pay extra to be transferred from a room with a view in the wall to a room with a normal view.
At the hotel you will pay 30,000 rubles per night and for this money you will not get even drinking water! Yes, plastic is forbidden here, but who's to stop the glass from giving water? There's no kettles, no tea, no coffee, nothing. I'm not sure if the bed linen was changed after the previous guests, because I smelled perfumes from the blanket that I don't use, and it was in exactly one place in the blanket. Cooler is not provided on the floor, nor are glasses. The hotel is shabby and old.

We've booked a Premier Harbour View Room with king bed, however when we checked in, only twin-bed room were available. Front desk staff Isaac was super helpful and upgraded our room to Premier Harbour View Suite located at 37th floor, which has a breath-taking view of the Victoria Harbour. There was a small open kitchen with microwave and induction stove. There were over 10 types of pillows for us to choose. The disposable toiletries were only available upon request at a charge. I've been to three other hotels after the government new law, they would provide wooden or bamboo disposable toiletries for free.

Whenever I have to stay a hotel in Hong Kong, I choose the Harbour Grand. In fact, I use it so much I joined their membership programme! The main reasons are convenience, affordability and luxury.
Located just a short walk from Fortress Hill MTR station, the hotel is very easy to get to. It's also located just two blocks north of King's Road so there are many bus connections as well as the iconic tramway. The neighbourhood is typical Hong Kong businesses on ground floor/residential flats above, with a variety of restaurants and access to the waterfront, as well as the Oi! art gallery in the former Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club headquarters.
Secondly is affordability. Of course it depends on when you stay, but for the room size and convenience this hotel is VERY cheap when compared to other hotels offering similar ameneties. A large room with a couch is several hundred dollars cheaper here than at other offerings.
Finally, the comfort. The beds are big. The couches are soft yet firm. The best part is the full sit-down bath which is nearly impossible to find in Hong Kong due to the high cost of land and the urge to make rooms as efficient as possible. There's actually space to walk around in the rooms.
Special thanks to Maria who is the "friendly face of the front desk" who welcomes you like an old friend who happened to drop by, while maintaining a professional attitude.

We booked the hotel because of its location overlooking the harbour. A room actually reserved through Booking.com and also included in the price on the top floors with unobstructed views was unfortunately not available on our arrival and also the following day. Despite the capacity of more than 500 rooms, the hotel exudes a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast room is sufficiently sized and offers free seats at all times. The buffet is rich and the food selection very good and complete at all times. The rooms and the entire hotel are apparently permanently maintained and in very good condition. Restaurant and lounge on 42nd. Floor offer breathtaking views of port and city. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In the event of a false alarm from the security system in the early hours of the morning, clear and reassuring announcements were made in the rooms until the causes were quickly clarified. Very pleasant was the offer to use the spa area again on the day of departure even after the check in case of a late departure to the airport.

This was our fist stay at Harbor Grand Hong Kong, we are frequent travelers to Asia and we chose this hotel mainly due to the location (Hong Kong Island) and also, the hotels /service apartments we had stayed before were not available. We stayed there for approx. 2 weeks. We got a superior room which was large for hotel room in HK (about 300 sq ft).
Check in process was efficient--a shout out to Issac who check us in for recommending the roof top at 41st floor--the view was beautiful at night!
The hotel is a bit dated but well maintained. The room was Very Quiet given the location (we were on the 26th floor). bed was comfortable and there was a small fridge, ironing board, drawer and closet space is a bit limited but sufficient. Housekeeping was efficient. There is no self service laundry at the hotel--but there are local self service laundries within a 7 to 10 min walk from the hotel.
The gym is well equipped with 5 tread mills, 3 ellipticals, and 3 stationary bike with weight machines and free weight and 2 benches. Always well staffed, you have to sign in daily to sue the gym and pool. The changing rooms have locker, towels and showers. The pool is great for lap swimming, the is cooler--at 26 to 27C, and is ideal for lap swimmers. Life guard /attendant always present.
Overall a very good stay, kudos the management and staff.

We stayed at the Habour Club Habour view suite and all of us had enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The check in and out was smooth and efficient and friendly service from concierge and housekeeping made us feel welcomed. I would like to mention the extra tooth brushes for our little travellers (2 kids) that the hotel kindly provided for and all the extra towels and tissue boxes. After a long day out and back to our room we would find most of our stuff toys neatly placed in a row on the sofa. That is so sweet! We thoroughly enjoyed the view the room has to offer (new year fireworks), tried their microwave and even their rangehood in the room and all worked well! The room is bright and very well sun lit even though the fittings (dark curtains and dark dining table) might give you otherwise feelings. We mostly ate at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel for dinner, most of the staff are approachable. The Char siu was very dry on the first night we tried and food was okay. The hotel was very considerate of their customers for delaying the finishing time for breakfast on the new year day so people can have a longer sleep and could still have their breakfast at the club lounge after the fireworks on new year's eve.
The guy at the counter near the entrance at the grand lobby seemed to be quite busy that he just wished I had not come up to him to ask for directions to nearby restaurants. (He did help and gave us directions)
We thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality and we would definitely come back.

The Harbour Grand is, like all the hotels and buildings in Hong Kong, a pretty massive skyscraper. We were on the 38th floor with 3 more floors above us. The foyer is large and somewhat characterless. The reception staff were pleasant and attentive enough and we were processed relatively quickly on our arrival. We got an upgrade to the club level which was nice. Our views over the city were good and we could see some of the harbour which was great. The room was not huge as space is very much at a premium in Hong Kong, but it was perfectly fine and had everything in it we needed. It also has British-style plugs which was great! One evening we went up onto the roof which gave us a marvellous view of the surrounding area and I would thoroughly recommend this. Breakfast was very good-excellent choice of European and Chinese foods and all of excellent quality. We had one dinner in the hotel. It was expensive but you could eat all you wanted and there was a wide range of very delicious food. There was also beer on tap which was good. One of the chefs took my wife around the food explaining which were gluten free. So I would recommend the Harbour Grand. My only criticism is that it is quite a soulless place.
