The Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel garners praise for its strategic location and reliable shuttle service, although opinions on its value proposition vary, with some guests considering it on the higher end of the price spectrum. The rooms, described as spacious and comfortable, have drawn attention, even as certain guests point out that the decor could use modernization and that the lighting is suboptimal. Visitors are enchanted by the hotel's grand atmosphere and plush beds, while the elegance of the lobby also earns admiration. The shuttle service is consistently lauded for its efficiency.
Staff interactions, however, receive a mix of reviews, ranging from commendations on their professionalism to occasional reports of rudeness. The amenities, including the airport and station shuttles, are generally viewed positively, and the executive lounge and suite upgrades are considered satisfactory, though not without room for improvement. Cleanliness is a highlight, with special mention of the well-kept rooms and sanitary amenities.

We booked the room included Ngong Ping cable car fares for 2, breakfast for 2 and HK$500 credit for food in the hotel restaurant. The shuttle to Tung Chung and airport is great. Our flight is in late evening - 8PM, so if the hotel can have a shower facilities for late flight guests will be good.

We stayed overnight in between flights en route from the US to Malaysia. We were initially a little concerned about trying to figure out how to get to the hotel via the airport shuttle in the evening after a fourteen-hour flight, but no worries - it’s pretty easy to find detailed instructions/maps online, and there’s a staffed Marriott counter at arrivals. (As a handy reminder, your checked luggage follows your airline ticket – so even though you may be getting off airport property, your checked bags will automatically get loaded on to the next segment of your flight.)
Our room was very comfortable and recently redone, and the room temperature control was great. The bathroom was fine, with a pretty good shower. No Nespresso but there was tea kettle and complimentary bottles of water in the room. There’s also complimentary coffee available in the lobby. The shuttle buses, when we were there, run like clockwork and were full-size busses.
We were at the hotel for a grand total of eight hours – enough to shower and sleep – but were extremely glad we spent the money instead of roughing it at the actual airport.

I stayed two nights here, the first on 2nd May followed by 10th May. The first stay wasn't so pleasant. Even though my room was upgraded to a suite, it was a rather awful experience with the bathroom shower head and toilet flush both leaking. When I dropped them a line about it and informed them I would be returning on 10th May, I was quickly given an almost perfect suite room on my return visit. Of course, this hotel was chosen because it is just about 5-min drive to the airport. It also has a lounge for club members. The room with ocean view is not that great either. As a whole, the staff esp at the front desk and concierge are friendly. Will return.

Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott is located close to the Hong Kong International Airport. It provides a shuttle to and from the airport, and another shuttle to and from Tung Chung station (for the Tung Chung line). Both shuttle departs the hotel at 0 and 30 minutes, and departs airport or Tung Chung station at 15 and 45 minutes. During our stay, we have observed that the shuttle to be puncture for its operation. The shuttle is convenient, especially with the additional shuttle to the Tung Chung station, as the Tung Chung line is much more budget friendly compared with the pricey Airport Express service. Once on the Hong Kong MTR, you can now just use credit card to tap in and out of the MTR station. This avoids the need to use the old Octopus card. Using the night upgrade certificate, we were able to upgrade our stay to a cornet suite. The suite is spacious, with a separate living area. We have also enjoyed the executive lounge (yummy dim sum and beef bulgogi) and the great breakfast at the morning buffet.

Bedding and the towel and the amenities are good. Room and the hallways are clean and new. Front desk is very helpful and nice. Airport shuttles are on time.
But, 1) Its airport shuttle doesn't park at the "Hotel Shuttle" spot, where it supposed to be, at the airport shuttle center. The one we got on parked at the "Resident Bus" spot. We would have missed the bus, if it not for the ground crew told us. 2) Pool runs 9 am-9 pm. Whoever stays at an upscale airport hotel is probably catch a morning flight. Could use a longer pool hour, say opens early at the least. 3) Tell me about the shower. It is one of those glass walled shower with a tall tub. The glass wall only covers half of the length of the tub. Hard for young ones to get in and out of the tub. Even harder for moms to help with the shower. And you know what, the flour towel you put outside the tub got soak wet after just one shower. And you really can't share the bathroom as the shower wall is totally transparent. Harrah's in Las Vegas has the same half glass shower wall, but they also offers two bathrooms in the guest rooms.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights as it is near to the Asia arena where the concerts and events are held.
As an airport hotel, it is definitely exceeding my expectation,
1. The hotel provides the 2 ways shuttle bus from airport, and to the city gate outlet mall
2. The hotel might be a bit dated from outside view, but the room is nice, spacious, comfortable bed and huge LG TV
3. The breakfast selection is quite alright, and if you book the breakfast a day prior with the counter staff, you will get a special rate
While the area is lack of nice food choices, you can always take the shuttle bus to the city gate or you walk via the link bridge to the expo MTR station and transfer to the city area for more sightseeing, shopping and food
Overall it is a very comfortable stays and a good hotel to stay in if you are attending events or concerts at the Asia arena

A convenient hotel near the airport, there is a concierge in the arrivals hall who will escort you to the shuttle to the hotel every half hour. The hotel itself is comfortable with excellent Marriott cuisine; in the area it is difficult to find something close in variety and quality. New hotels have been built nearby, let's see if they can surpass this one in convenience and comfort. For visitors to the exhibition center, this hotel is the closest, literally a stone's throw away.

I booked from 14-18 August 2023, I checked in around 3am on 15th Aug already, and my husband & kids arrived in the afternoon same day. I emailed Marriott Hotel to inform them about my arrival time and made some requests. They were very responsive. I was told to call the hotel & use the telephone in the kiosk at the airport once I arrived, which I did and immediately the shuttle bus picked me up from the airport early morning & even im the only passenger. The receptionist Kay was very accommodating. When I went inside the room, I was surprised as they exceeded my expectations about my request, I just asked to have a small cake for our Anniversary to surprise my husband but they provided not only the cake but also made a beautiful decoration on the bed with balloons. My husband and our 2 kids were surprised too and they love it. We enjoyed our stay in Marriott SkyCity. Thank you for upgrading our room to Sea view as well. Room was clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. It's also convenient to travel with free shuttle. Hotel is very near to Hong Kong airport and MTR. Thank you Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, highly recommended.👍🏻😊

This is the Marriott hotel I am most satisfied with so far. The room design is elegant and magnificent, different from other new-school designs. The bathroom is luxurious and comfortable, and the executive courtesy service is also the hotel I am most satisfied with among Marriott. Thank you to Charne, the VIP room director, for your careful arrangement, allowing us to check in at the VIP room without queuing. The service was very attentive. Everything we needed was arranged immediately after we told her. The staff at other VIP rooms were also very attentive and courteous, and they answered all my questions patiently. It was the first time I felt such VIP hospitality in a Marriott executive room. Highly recommend staying in the Lounge Access room here.

We had bad experience at a skycity Marriott coffee shop. It's important to provide feedback when encountering poor service, as it helps the establishment improve.
Lunch buffet no re-fill service, we are encouraged those people should be arrived at 12nn as main food will sold out, no refill. I was asking staff for food provided situation, got response rude attitude( 燒味姐姐回答:冇就冇啦). Marriott service i had ever seen.
I had join Marriott club at skycity, i believe that i won’t will renew the membership afterwards. As salesman only provide good service when before joining the member.
Deeply disappointed at Skycity Marriott. Thanks.

I don't remember seeing a direct to Disneyland Hong Kong? I only saw 2 bus stops of which 1 was - the airport and 2 - Tung Chung.
Better to speak to them to ask.
Yes, there is. I'm not sure how late it runs, but you can contact the hotel directly ...
The hotel also has a presence at the Marriott desk on the arrivals floor, they may be able to help there, too.
There are more places to choose from in the Hong Kong area.
