Detailed Reviews
This Bridial Tea House is located at Winslow St, only a five minute walk to Hung Hom MTR station. Unfortunately the ride to central Hong Kong requires a change.
Rooms are small, but ok for Hong Kong, don’t bring to much luggage. The beds are compfy, but the room and the bathroom are clean only on the first sight. Further looking shows spots and hairs from previous travellers.
There are amenities provided, such as water bottles, toothbrush and paste, slippers etc. There is also a microwave oven on the floor.
Check in and out was seamless. Our fridge wasn't working; although I asked multiple times, the problem was not fixed.

I booked this place purely for a cheap place to stay nearby hung hom since arriving late at night by train from Guangzhou - can't really imagine any other reason why you would stay here. For the price $90/night can't really say it was worth it value-wise for a closet sized room that fits a bed and nothing else, but it was exactly what I needed. Clean bathroom/shower that was about the same size as the bedroom, though the a/c unit did not work very well in my room. Friendly staff.

My friend and I stayed from 24/8-31/8 & had no issue with this hotel. Absolutely love how cozy the room is especially after a long day of traveling, one could just jump onto the bed and had a good night rest. However, I do agree that the walls are too thin. A drop of a pin from the next room could even be heard from our room.
On a related note, if you don't mind the location of the hotel situated along the funeral's road, then you ought to stay in this hotel. Also take note that there's two Bridal Tea House in Hung Hom, one is in Wuhu St (looks prettier and more classy) and another one is in Winslow St- along the funeral's road (looks dated). Transportation wise, it is very convenient ie. within 5mins walking distance to MRT station, bus and mini van. Although it could get a little creepy at night (cos most of the shops closed pretty early), but I felt safe maybe cos of the hospitality shown by the local people.

+1

checked in hotel and the manager was on the reception desk and a very warm welcome after a very long flight. The hotel from hung hom station is maximum 4 minute walk and you can see the hotel as you get off the A21 bus which was super efficient.Yes the room is small but better than expected. The room was very clean with clean bed, towels.bottled water which was stocked up daily, slippers and a lovely little fridge and kettle all provided and very clean. In my room there were tooth brush, hair conditioner and in the shower shampoo and body wash dispenser. The shower was hot and fast and towels clean and fluffy.I have read some poor reviews about this hotel but very very suprised. The area is interestin and yes a funeral area but if 20 florist shops offend you then dont stay here. There are loads of places to eat and you are very centrat to TST if you can walk 10 mins>i will stay again P.S the cleaners and reception were perfect
PPS each floor which only has 4 rooms per floor has ultra efficient microwave and the 7/11 store across the road has fantastic microwave meals for £1.20 and lovely beer for 45p for 500ml can
loved it

As many other reviewers have already noted, the rooms were absolutely tiny - it's like living in a shoebox. Two good things, however. One, wi-fi (in the lobby area and the sitting area next door) was very dependable. Also, the hotel was within about an 8 minute walk to Hung Hom station and therefore well located. Bear in mind that if you wish to take the MTR over to Hong Kong island, there is a bit of walk to transfer at the East Tsim Sha Tsui (East TST)/Tsim Sha Tsui (TST stations. As you have to first exit the East TST station and then enter the TST station, purchase the Octopus card to enjoy a free transfer, or else transfer at Nam Cheong for Hong Kong MTR station.
It would be very hard to stay here if you have a lot of luggage (you'd have to be very creative in 'squeezing out' space in the room). For two people in the standard double, once we've placed our bags on the floor, there was no way the door would be able to open fully. I would not recommend two people in the standard room unless you were on a shoestring budget like we were! Beware if you are a light sleeper as the walls are thin and you will be woken up by people moving about in the morning.
Then again, if you are a price sensitive traveller, but want the convenience of a central Kowloon location, this is probably about as good a deal as you can get. Not entirely satisfying, I know, but that's the reality of Hong Kong hotels these days.

The hotel was nearby a metro station which was quite handy, and the small rooms had everything you need! My room was small but i had a double bed, desk and a bathroom, all very clean and comfortable. Not Bad at all for a 3 night stay.

75€ for a 3 Star Hotel a bit far away from the city sounds feasible in the first moment.
But when I arrived and recgnize that those rooms are smaller than a dog house I was really very disappointed.
It was written 10square meter but that’s exaggerated.
And I stay there only 1 night with my girlfriend because during the night my feet and legs always bump against the wall.
So my understanding is that even the cheapest guest house in Hong Kong is much better than such a flophouse.
And to top it off there’s also directly the Hong Kong crematorium when you go into the hotel for those people who like that kind of view.
Also here to get a summary: never again

Spent a night here. The price was very good for a Friday night in Summer.
Location is about a 10 minute easy walk across a walkway from Hung Hom Station. Take exit B1 and the hotel is just past the end with a big sign.
The area has lots of restaurants and shops, especially a few blocks south of the hotel.
The room itself is clean and comfortable enough. Yes, it's tiny, but well set out with things like a fridge, slippers. toothpaste, water etc.
This hotel and chain certainly offers good value.

Location - very close to multiple bus stations and one metro and good connections to the airport, supermarket just around the corner
Hotel facilities - rooms are cleaned to acceptable standard also rest of premises feel a little dirty, there is basically nothing thee but the rooms and a staircase and a lift, the main reception is located next door but easy to find
Room - very small even for Hong Kong standard, my friend could not open her suitcase inside the room because there was. It space to put it down, and one very useless large inbuilt cupboard took addition space, AC was working well all usual room amenities were there: fridge, free shower gel etc. but no hair dryer
Service - ok and acceptable but not up to local standard
Overall- the hotel was good for a short stay but I would probably never go back as there are better options for that price with a more lively location
