It's got all the basics you need in a one night stay. Clean towels, friendly staff and good location. It's a little exposed to noise when someone is talking along the corridor. However, the location right next to the major shopping malls made up for it. Just a tip for future hostelites - there is very limited power outlets in... More

Hostel is ok for a stay in Hong Kong on the Hong Kong island side. We had a double room which is really small (but that's Hong Kong) and the beds are not really comfortable. Shower didn't have a curtain so the bathroom was always full of water. :( But the location for the hostel is really good. Connection to... More

The hostel is situated on the main street of Causeway bay and this hostel is near to every single attraction of Hong Kong. I paid 100 HKD through internet but desk price is 129 HKD. Kitchen/fridge is not available in every hall. Please carry your own lock if you are carrying valuable items with you. Floor of rooms are little... More

I've been staying at this hotel for at least 10 times now (6 times in my last three visits to HK since Dec 2015). The location is prime, close to SOGO, Time Square, HM, Welcome Convenient store and many many traditional Cantonese cuisine restaurants/food stall (of coz, that's only if you can find them~ not a problem for me as... We stayed 4 nights in this Hostel. It's not a bad hostel by far, but there are some aspects that hindered my overral aprreciation. Starting with the positives, the staff is helpful and has an ok dominance of the english language, so you will have no troubles asking for help. The location is phenomenal, you are right next to the... More

Most of my friends visited this hostel on multiple occasions and it was recommended to me by them. I must say that this hostel is very difficult to find. Once I arrived for check-in the transition was very smooth and professional. I was visiting Hong Kong to renew my US Visa and had photo copy to show the receptionist at... More

Firstly it's clean. This is in prime land in Hong Kong where most apartments are small to begin with. So do not expect hotel standards. Go pay US$200 if you want to. If I paid $200 per night for this, naturally it'd be a poor rating . It's clean. That's most important. Basic and small. Quirky too. Checked in at... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
