Hotel is clean and staff are accomodating but far from the subway/train. You need to walk for 15-20mins to arrive in the next subway station. Hotel doesn't offer free breakfast. Good view from our room. Toilet is clean and big.

We stayed in a family room. Centrally located in Wan Chai. Need to walk around 500 m. to reach nearest underground station. For tourists who would like to spend most of the time outside and need only bed & shower, this place is okay.

We stayed in a family room, the room itself was a bit small but that is what you can expect from that price range in HK. The rooms were clean and tidy and seemed modern. The hotel is in an excellent location close by to train and bus stations, eating places and the markets. We would stay here again only for...

After reading the reviews we expected the worst but were surprised in a good way. The hotel upgraded us to a family suite for our honeymoon. Staff is not unfriendly in HK terms where cold service is very common Rooms were small but also believe this is the standard in HK Room was clean other than small stain on the...

The booking site said this was a four-star hotel. I miss read it as it should've been a -4 star hotel. The elevators only work part of the time. The room phone was not working. The closet door mirror was missing. The bathroom equipment was hanging off the wall. The toilet had what appeared to be dried urine. Not a pleasant...

It's not really a hotel - it's more like a boarding house. The small rooms are on the middle floors of a tower block, sandwiched in between karaoke, bar, mah jong establishments etc. The free wifi is terrible. In/out all the time. The bed is hard and covered with 2 thin sheets. The TV had 2 channels, both in Chinese....

The hotel is pathetic, right from the lobby. When you enter there's no reception, noone to receive or guide, no lobby. Entrance has a wierd smell. You have to figure out where the lobby is. Rooms are very small. pictures are very deceiving. They start torturing you from 10.30 for checkout.

Small rooms with hard mattress. Better to pay a bit more to have a better stay. No breakfast provided but there are many affordable eating places nearby.Location ok with walking distance to shops. Still using the traditional key to open room door where others have already upgraded to access cards. It is ok if you just want some place to...

Good price and value. Heart of party district. Hotel is located on high floors so the view is amazing. Staff is pretty unfriendly tho. Anyway we are not spoiled kids with crazy demands so we enjoyed every minute in this hotel. Anyway who wants to sleep in HK? Stop complaining and try Hong Kong's nightlife ;)

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
