Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

Very happy with this hotel. It is fairly close to the waterfront. About 1km. We walked there using elevated walkways where possible. It's also near to Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Rooms small, basic but clean & comfy.

To get to this hotel from the airport, we just hopped on the A11 bus with our luggage and rode for close to an hour. The bus stopped within easy walking distance of the front door of the hotel. Although rooms were not large, it appeared modern and was perfectly adequate for 2

I extended my trip by 1 night and moved over from the Hyatt. Small room but modern -- comfy clean and no complaints. For the price in Wan Chai its a good deal compared to other hotels with larger but old rooms. Id stay here again. My only issue was that when i was in a rush

The location was good in terms of proximity to my husband’s office and the staff were friendly. There was no restaurant or bar though and even though our room was on the 17th floor, the traffic noise was hard to put up with at night, The room was tiny for two adults and two

The hotel was satisfactory for a short stay. Central location and convenient to transport. A renovation was taking place at the time which wasn't advised at the time of booking. The cleaners were especially nice and professional - more so than the front office staff. The

They are very rigid about checking in. What I experienced was they will give you if there is a room available. But otherwise you will have to check in at 2-3 pm. You can park your baggages with them and walk around that area for breakfast or lunch. There is a dim sum place not too far away that serve quite decent food.

You do not need to pay a cell phone deposit, the cellphone comes with free usage with your room rate. I suggest using airport WiFi and waiting to purchase a cheap SIM card at any 7/11. It is about 100 HKD. You can choose the time of data you wish to use: 1 day, 3 day, 7 days and add more if you wish. I use mine every time I go to HK just popping it into my phone and dialing a number to add data when needed.

"Better to be higher, away from the road. We were above the 20th floor, which was OK!"
