We arrived here after being on the president 8 boat for a 4 days Yangtze River cruise. It was our last hotel, before flying home to Canada . It was in a busy section of town with a ton of Chinese restaurants. The lobby was very impressive, we arrived early ... they provide a 2oclock checkout.... so our room were not ready.the hotel was very busy with a conference when we were there. The group decided to eat dinner inside the hotel. Most chose al carte dining, as we had 14 days of buffet prior.... they had a difficult time preparing hamburgers or sandwich under a 45 minute time.... they really wanted us to have the buffet. The rooms were huge and modern, at first glance, but after closer investigation, the presence of mold and water leak stains in the bathroom ceiling and bedroom wall, was clearly evident .

This hotel can’t be qualified as a 5 stars as most of the staff doesn’t speak English .... only few persons from the reception does ... ! Ordered room service and got called back 3 times as the lady on the phone didn’t understand my order which was pasta ...! Couldn’t use the swimming pool as it was busy most of the time for swimming classes for people from outside the hotel .

My stay at this hotel was a very comfortable and convenient considering it’s not too far from the city Centre. It has nice gym and in-house swimming pool. However there is constant precipitation in the gym because of the air conditioning inside the gym and probable water vapor from the heated pool entering it. It Offers a variety of options for vegetarians such as myself for breakfast buffet. Having ordered pizzas a couple of time for room service, they chefs have a big scope of improvement there. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t that good either. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. This hotel has Japanese restaurant, an all day dining restaurant with western cuisine and a cafe in the lobby. Spa i felt is a bit overpriced however after experiencing a session I believe it’s worth the money charged. All in all it was a good experience.

We had a pleasant staying 3 nights here in a large city view room. There were many local food stores around the hotel just in 5 mins walk and 1 small food market. But found no any shopping area in walk distance. The breakfast was good in taste and choices. Most of the hotel staffs couldn't speak English but tried to service. The fitness center and swimming pool( with warm water) are good,They are close at 10p.m.

Changed from Sofitel. A bit dated but rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast was like most hotels in China, you have to find your own table/seat. Coffee spoons all used up. Have to use your finger or chopstick to stir your coffee with sugar!!

I stayed with my friends for 4 days 3 nights.I found that it’s very hard to get a taxi knowing this hotel. We need to walk from the nearest station about 20min. My room did not include breakfast , then I need to pay extra about 80yuan/person. And I was dissappionted with the breakfast. The food is cold not fresh cooked. Very plain and simple. For example, sushi has no salmon but carrot instead. By the way, the room was very nice, clean and full of amenities. With a big window.

I met really friendly and extremely helpful receptionists. Reception is the best part of this hotel. Thanks for all guys! Hotel offers interesting trips around. There is shallow pool with clean warm water, nice gym. Sauna was out of order when i come. Room is so great, huge, clean and nicely furnished, decorated. I could not sleep well, but what to do. I enjoyed my stay here.

Beautiful experience. Went there as my first time to the city in a business trip. The hotel is arranged from the company I work for. We were almost 10-12 people and I didn’t tell anyone that was my birthday. Entering in he lobby after the welcome drink, we could here the “Happy Birthday “ song and the staff approaching with a cake prepared from them for my birthday of course with the candles on top. Can’t thank them enough for that type of arrangement totally unknown to me. Not only, a present was left on my room from the management. Thank you very much. About the hotel: It is very big, rooms are very clean and people always willing to help and assist you even not all of them speaks English very well. Several restaurants, and I can recommend the Japanese one for sure. The business lounge situated on 26th floor was nice and a lot of staff to grab. Very nice gym with the view on the swimming pool. But the best of course their Hospitability.

Large, comfortable rooms, great bed and nice amenities. My room was sort-of "shogun style" with dark panelling but great lighting everywhere you need it. The window actually opened. The thermostat worked. The breakfast downstairs had tons of choices to satisfy every culture, and all was fresh and appetising. Would stay here again.
