This hotel is a 5 minute walk through ungentrified hutongs to the metro at Beijing Railway station. it's very Chinese. The rooms are modest and functional but clean, and the a/c works well a does the hot water. The breakfast was excellent - lovely flavours - and a wide choice of Chinese dishes with the option of toast etc too....

This is a very charming and historic hotel in the heart of Beijing. The staff was very helpful with bus directions and it was great fun to hop on the bus for visits to Tianaman Square, the Forbidden Palace, Woman's and Children Museum and the shopping areas. The Beijing Railway Station is very close and there is a mall right...

The hotel is nothing special. We stayed in there on two occasions, the first time it was only ok but the second time the room was shabby and did not have window (!), the toilet flush did not work properly (!). When reported, they could not understand me in the reception, then a woman arrived and surprisingly it worked that time...

This hotel is situated about 600 meters from Beijing Railway Station (and from metro station), in quiet area. The small shop is just 30 meters from the main entrance, the bank (currency exchange) about 300 meters. We (family of 4 persons) booked Family Suite, which is composed of two rooms. There was one normal size double bed in one room...

We only had a couple of hours here to sleep so it's not the most detailed review but as a stopover for Beijing Railway is was ideal. Short walk - the staff at the hotel kindly gave us a little breakfast for the road as we had to check out before breakfast time. No English speakers as a heads up....

There needs to be a "good" designation. For the price and knowing the standards typically found in Chinese Hotels, I had no specific complaints. Its a good value for the price. The biggest challenge is finding it. But having had to do it a couple of times now, its not so difficult. From the airport take the airport express subway...

It's hard to belive an American or English guests are rated the Zhong An five stars. This hotel is located right along Beijing railway station in the hutong , which is a maze of very narrow alleyways with no public street lights and a lot of homeless and shady looking people. The upside is the hotel near police station the...

The room was small but OK. Everything else was good, except that when shower water got out of the shower door, it wouldn't drain well, which made the bathroom wet . Overall, the place looks a little old but kept clean. Convenient access to train, subway and bus stations.
