The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Tianamen Square and about 5 minutes walk from Wangfujing subway station. The famous Wangfujing street food and the shopping place are just about a few minute walk. There are few local small restaurants near the hotel from where we can have authentic local cuisine. The hotel is clean and kind of cosy. The staff are also friendly, although we needed translator app to communicate.

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is within walking distance to WangFuJing station, Wangfujing walking street, TianAnMen Sq and Forbidden City. The room is reasonable size that comes with a heater and a split unit air-conditioner. The decor is quite dated but bed is comfy and clean. Room is quiet too. It is about 10~15mins walk from Wangfujing metro station, Exit C1. From the C1 exit, the 5 stars Beijing Hotel is on the right. Walk straight for about 300m to come to the 1st traffic light. Cross over and turn right immediately. Walk along Nanheyan Dajie for about 150m and turn left into a street with carpark gantry. Walk about 20m and the hotel is on the right side. I would stay here again if i return to Beijing.

Hotel was excellent and their breakfast was good also. Room was very good and clean. I can highly recommend about this hotel. This hotel is like a quarter. All area is silent and quite place. All together, it's like a residential area.

The hotel is situated within walking distance to the Tiananmen and Tiananmen Square. Very limited restaurants nearby and we cannot find any breakfast nearby. There are 2 blocks and we had a room on level 2 on the older blocks and there are no view. It was a courtyard hotel and the rooms on the other block nearer to the road seems nicer. Hotel are old and the reception are not so helpful. The breakfast (CNY 100 for 2 guests) is temporarily served at the tea appreciation area and this is the only F&B outlet that served only breakfast (no lunch and dinner). We walked to WangFuJian which is around 15mins walk but the street was quite dark w little lights and this is quite normal in Beijing. The bed are big, soft and comfortable.

We were in Beijing for 2 days tour and chose this hotel for our stay since we would be out for most of the day and needs a place to crash at night. Hence we looked for someplace within our budget and right in the middle of the city. We spotted Days Inn since it offered a good price and is very close to all the main spots and all of the tour companies offered pickup from here. We noticed that most of the people who chose this hotel were tourists and from different nations but the staff seemed to decently manage them all. Usually when the tour guides come for pickup, they arrange to call to our rooms so it was convenient. The hotel lobby can get crowded in the morning due to tour pickups. The hotel also provided day tours at a cheap price, but we had booked tours via klook so cant comment on that. The room chosen by us were basement rooms since we were there as a couple space didn't matter. Like other reviewers had mentioned the room looked slightly worn down, but everything was functional and clean so it didn't matter. Also regarding the windows, there are small ceiling windows which open to the garden outside, but we didn't use it since we turned on the AC. Regarding safety of the adjacent building where the basement rooms are located, we found that the building is accessible via electronically opening the doors using our room keys, so outsiders do not have access to the building. When we were checking out they allowed to store our luggage for the whole day while on tour and while leaving Beijing the front desk tried helping us in getting a taxi to the station. When they couldn't find one, they helped us in getting to the bus stop and taking a bus with clear directions on how to go etc. I would thank the staff for their efforts.
