I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The first thing to note is that the quality of the rooms varies hugely depending on which floor you are on. I'd booked a night before the tour by myself and the room was pretty terrible. Extremely old with stained carpet. Once I booked in for the actual tour though...

I'm quite happy with this hotel. Brilliant location exit H Chongwenmen station. My tips : Bring hair conditioner as theirs is 2 in 1. I didn't think I would need to bring hair conditioner but you do! Also I'm so glad I threw in a packet of coffee bags as I'm down to my last one! Couldn't see them in...

Stayed as part of a gadventure tour. Decent room; clean and reasonable size. Good location right by Exit H of the Chongwenmen subway station and close to cafes, bakeries, banks and restaurants. The breakfast is expensive so try the nearby coffee shops/bakeries. Front desk staff had good English and were helpful. The maintenance staff were excellent - our shower wasn't...

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Strange place. It did not offer all the usual amenities that most hotels do. Patrons could e change foreign currency, but only when certain staff were on duty. It did not stock postcards or have touristy things like city maps or information booklets. Place just looked a bit jaded.

Well located hotel near a few must see sites in Beijing. Rooms are clean. Staff are ok, breakfast is acceptable. This was not a fancy hotel but it has everything you need unless you're looking for luxury

Locations good, rooms and brekky are ok. But their biggest letdown are the staff, especially at reception. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Wifi doesn't work at all anywhere in the hotel and nobody could help - reception in fact dismissive and tried to ignore me altogether! From an external perspective this is a good hotel but you'll feel let down once you're...

The problem here is that the beds are like sleeping on concrete The Chinese believe its good for your back but the mattresses are literally rock hard The corner has easy bus transfers all over. The metro is right at the corner as well There is a great dim sum restaurant across the street and many restaurants nearby. Good location...

we stayed as part of a G adventures tour and it turned out to be the best hotel of the trip. Not saying much sadly. Check in was an ordeal. there was no air conditioning at all in our room. No hot water for the first 2 days and a cabbage smelling bathroom, lovely! The in house restaurant was a...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights while passing through Bejing, it was clean and the staff were very friendly. My room was comfortable but a little on the small side. I know I shouldn't complain but the room was boiling and the aircon didn't work. The beds were comfortable, a little on the hard side (seems to be...

You're here for the start of your fantastic G Adventures tour. Awesome! You'll probably have fun. If you're arriving after midnight and taking the airport bus, don't expect to find the hotel. It will leave you at the train station which is loud and full of people who can't help. Don't try to walk; take a taxi. You'll get lost...
