The worst 5-star hotel ever! Not qualified for " Marco Polo" 1、my room key was invalid a few times, had to make 4 trips to front desk from elevator and room floor during my 2 nights stay. 2、one lunch in the Chinese restaurant Beijing Palace: the staff forgot to serve the beer we ordered; we had a hard time to... The faster in room service that we had i.e. meals and shower room malfunction. A very minimum person at the front desk understands English language. The bad thing is we are unable to enter to the Google Account using our laptop. We need to subscribe to VPN in order to enter to the Google webpage which is not convenience at... More

Recently stayed three nights at this hotel. The decision to stay here was purely based on the fact that it was close to where some friends and family were living in Beijing, and given the insane traffic the city faces, I wanted to be close to easily meet up with them. The hotel location isn't half bad; it's a stones... More

Other than a little trouble getting understood at Check in/out in English and excellent stay. The rooms were excellent and the staff more than willing to assist. Beautiful architecture with an impressive entrance and some good restaurants and cafes.

I've been staying at Marco Polo for a few days during a business trip. It was conveniently placed to get to my office but in the morning it can take 1 hour to get to the city center. Like many hotels in Beijing, the personnel speaks very little English which can be a problem. Rooms are spacious but somewhat old... More

I cannot speak about the price or if it is worth the price as I did not pay for the hotel. So this will be about the service and my experiences. This is a very nice hotel. It is clean and the staff is courteous. If they do not speak English they will find someone right away for you to... More

In a good location to go wandering in interesting underground "malls" or to run across the street and grab Papa Johns or McDonalds. Bathroom smelled heavily of mold, and was a tortuous ordeal to get money converted but the breakfast buffet was amazing even if it was another ideal to get a coffee. Expensive for food, eat off site.

Marco Polo is very close to Anilu station and the SEI offices. There are several restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The rooms and bathrooms are in good condition and clean. Water pressure was great, Negatives are its very hot in the room at night 27C as they stop the Airconditioning after midnight like many Chinese hotels. The Windows can't be... More

Service is bad, i couldn't receive my package that i ordered because they didn't pay attention to my name and my message. Room's door is bad, they even didn't close my room door after room service, i realized when i went back to room at night, how dangerous it is?
