The YuYang used to be a very charming and international standard hotel. Now it has evolved into a modest accommodation however, still in a very convenient location. The remembrances of the old time are still there but, it shows mercilessly the sign of the time, the carpet floor looks like an old cat fur, the bed is no longer very... More

I stayed here for almost a week. It's location is perfect for me as my work meeting place was just a walking distance. While the bedrooms are big and spacious, I think this property needs a major upgrade. The carpets are old, the beddings have stains and the overall interior and design was a bit dated. Also, most front desk... More

Was there a while back for a business trip. And my local colleague helped me to book Yuyang as it is within walking distance to their office. Location was fine and it is lake/ facing. Hotel was a bit old but wifi was okay. Breakfast was below average and only served a few variety. A lot of eatery nearby is... More

Furnishings kind of dated and nothing really to shout about. Aircon temp adjustment needs to improve, as I was having hard time to find the comfortable range. Hotel counter staff friendliness could be improved. Getting around on taxi is highly recommended.

By Chinese standards this us a very good hotel. The lobby is very impressive and the rooms are biggish and nice. The beds are huge. Breakfast is buffet and very good. Staff are nice but have limited English so room service and enquiries are a bit of a problem. The concierges are especially friendly. But don't go to the first... More

The Yuyang was always a place to stay because it was convenient to the office. I remember the Yuyang, years ago, being extremely ordinary Chinese hotel and the only reason to stay was because it was close to the office. In the lead up to the 2008 Olympics, it underwent a full refurbishment. It now has much more going for... More

I visited in this hotel for one week. As I came for a conference, I had no option than staying here because the organizers had booked this hotel for the event. There are positives and negatives of the hotel. First up the price was reasonable as it cost around 100 $ per a day. Though it is the winter, heating... More

Was there for less than 14 hours stay. They gave me a smoking room and it wasn't the easiest to catch a cab there. Room is fairly compact with barely enough room to walk. Bed is hard but the pillow is nice. Hotel service is near nonexistent.

I spent two nights here, after a late arrival. I was gone most of the first day, so didn't get to experience too much of the hotel and the area. What I did see looks pleasant, with some parks, a small river, etc. It was a nice and comfortable room. I slept well and it was quiet. Options for pillows... More
