Stayed for 9 nights in September 2015. Location great. Between 2 metros but Lingjing Metro(Line 4) is nearer and easier access. Buses in Xidan street few steps away. Taxis in front of hotel. Location is in a small street ( not directly in Xidan North street) south side of Xidan Shopping Center. Not hard to find. Eateries, restaurants and groceries...

Hotel is great for location, close to Forbidden City. Cleanliness of rooms is not good for price of room. Room have new TV and old furniture, some furniture is broken. But room have everything for cooking and some rooms have washing machine and rooms is big enough. Better to choose rooms with city view, instead of garden view (too dark...

We had a hard time deciding between a hotel room in Wanfujing area vs. a two bedroom suite at HWA; we couldn't be happier that we picked the latter. For about USD 100 per night, you got a two bedrooms ( one queen, one twin) two baths suite with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, three sets of TV and...

The hotel is located in the upper floors of the Xidan Shopping Center. The location is great in a pleasant shopping area with a huge number of restaurants in the nearby malls and two metro lines pretty close. The proximity of metro stations made the location a good base for sightseeing. Also one of the airport shuttle buses (no 2)...

Stayed for a few weeks. Worked out well for me. Quite close to the subway (about 5 min walk). Suites are large. Big swimming pool, and some other fitness equipment/facilities. Aircon worked well. Staff was friendly and seemed eager help. Couple of things to watch for: Most staff had adequate English, but this hotel is mostly for Chinese, so don't...

The hotel is in a vibrant part of the city close to shops and restaurants both western as well as Chinese. The staff were extremely helpful, and several spoke good English. The apartments are clean and large and while the kitchens are fairly basic it was great for our family, and we could make our own breakfasts (helped by coffee...

Well, the apartment is big. Not a lot of natural light but we were out all day! It is a very noisy neighborhood, bring ear plugs. Not very new, but ok. I would not like to cook my own meal in that kitchen but there are plenty of restaurants around. The subway is close which was very nice because all...
