The building is quite old but after the rooms have been renovated the place is quite cozy. Positive matters are wooden flooring, air-cons which can be used even if cooling season by gov. is not started yet and radiator heating system. Also the white goods are mostly non-Chinese and usable. As with most apartments in Beijing the indoor air quality... More

We booked a two-bedroom apartment. It has the basic amenities that we needed for a 10-day stay. Well-equipped kitchen , washing machine and dryer met our standards. There was so much to explore in Beijing, we were hardly in the hotel, other than shower, do our laundry and have a good night's sleep. The location was very good, it was... More

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment and were very pleased. It was a great deal for our extended family of 5, much cheaper than the 2 hotel rooms we would have needed with considerably more space. It was great to have the living area and small kitchen for the kids to run around in. Rooms are clean and the washing... More

I know these reviews are by travellers, but I thought a view from an expat living here for 2 years is useful. This serviced apartment's location is terrific: a 15 walk to the Sanlitun Village (center for expats and good restaurants), a short taxi ride to many tourist sites, a 3 minute walk to subway stations and the Airport Express.... Enjoyed our stay at this place. Apartment was clean, big and nicely furnished. All appliances, exept audio. Free gymnasium with a great view on the 31st floor. Pool in the basement. Special thanks to very friendly english-speaking staff. Very helping with our little passport incident (always take a receipt from a taxi-driver!!!).

The apartments are perfect for a big family. It was brilliant just to have a washing machine! The location was excellent, with the subway around the corner. There was a supermarket downstairs and even a bowling alley. The kids loved that. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff spoke english and were extremely helpful. What more could you... My family of four stayed here for 5 nights. It was wonderful to be in the same room, instead of having to stay in two rooms. One of bedrooms had 2 twin beds, the other, a queen bed. It is very spacious - comfortable living room, dining room and decent sized kitchen. They provided everything - a few dishes, utensils,... More

I am an expat living in China and always loathed taking trips to Beijing - traffic jams, unfriendly locals and feeling out-of-place just got under my skin too much. My parents came to visit my family and we booked a 3-bedroom apartment at East Gate Plaza and my entire Beijing outlook has been changed. First of all, in my opinion,... More

The Beijing East Gate Plaza Service Apartment's proved to be an excellent choice for my family. We stayed in a standard two-bedroom apartment that contained a separate kitchen with a small-enclosed patio and separate dining area. Living room: couch, table and two chairs. A work desk and separate washer/dryer room. As well as two large bedrooms and a fair sized... More

I have stayed in many places in Beijing from top-rated tripadvisor tourist hotels to small budget (see my other reviews) and this is the best! Three of us stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which seemed to have been recently renovated. I booked the hotel on Sinohotel.com for around 798 RMB (104 USD). The apartment was spacious and clean, with... More
