We had a terrible time here last week. They clearly did not care about their customers whatsoever. My fiancé and I needed to go to the Embassy early in the morning, before getting a train back to our city. We stayed here for the convenience of its location, and it seemed to have decent reviews. When we arrived at 11...

An unusual hotel in a sense that it serves dual purposes of being a lodging place and an art museum. Established about twenty years ago by Mr Li, an entrepreneur and artist in his own right, the original building was a disused clothes factory. Mr Li is a stone carving artist who saw the opportunity of converting a factory into...

Hotel is close to embassies area but very difficult to catch a taxi. first, 'too close' for taxi but still far to walk (especially in winter). Hotel is not on main road so to get taxi is difficult. most important staff do not speak English hence for foreigners it will be a difficult place to stay or get around. Breakfast...

Location is great, walking distance to shopping centres, underground train and surrounded by multiple massage joints. The hotel room condition is fairly good, clean, modern and simple. Bathroom is modern with rain shower. Not much luxury however, good for a business stay as it is convenient.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was great for my purposes (in the embassy district), and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. My room was one of the renovated rooms (for westerners). Heaps of space and great amenities. The only two downsides, currently, are that the meals are clearly catered for a largely domestic clientele. There's a few...

Advantage of this hotel is close location walking distance to many foreign embassies in Beijing. Rooms look brand new and very clean. Disadvantages are very poor internet connection (it says wi-fi connection but actual connection is next to none - not able any internet page even showing good signal), no in-room service (no restaurant in this small hotel) and unfortunately...

I found this Hotel pretty run down. Some people mentioned new rooms, I wonder where they hid them from us!?! Seriously the rooms were not new. To the contrary. Carpet showed a long history of stains, shower head sprayed water in all directions because it was broke and due to calcification, my room had the lowest energy-saving bulb quality, so...

We booked this hotel just because its location near the embassy area. And that is all we get. Other things are poor. The room is dirty and old, the staff speaks poor english, we can smell smoke everywhere, at night you can heard people talked on corridor and slammed the door, no wifi, just the cable. If I go to...

I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. The carpet in my room was so filthy I tried to avoid looking at it, but it was not as filthy as the chairs in the lobby. There was mold in the shower enclosure and I am sure there must be mold in the floors and ceilings because the shower leaked badly....

How to say? This hotel seems to be special for those visitors of Australian and Canadian Embassies from other city. The location is perfect, right opposite to those embassies. But when you look at other things, especially when comparing with other 4-star hotels, it shows much weakness. The lobby is not very well designed. The staff are not very friendly...
