I work in China for 12 years and this hotel is one of the worst I ever stayed. I and my colleagues arrived there at 11 o'clock at night, exhausted. The hotel was completely dark. The reception girl (there was only one for such a big hotel) was as extremely slow and it took us more than 15 minutes to...

The location is not the best. Although very central, it is hidden in a rusty area. Taxi drivers struggle finding the place or dropping you at various places. The hotel is a 10min walk from tianmen square. Staff are ok but do not speak english. So be prepared and patient. Rooms are great with halved design, one side is a...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Words can not express how disappointed I was after arriving at this hotel. I chose cheap transport options so that I could splurge on 5 star accommodation whilst holidaying in China. Beijing was meant to be the highlight of our trip but soon turned into a nightmare after checking into this poorly managed, neglected...

The hotel has serious ambitions, as seen in the way they present themselves on the websites. Presently the problem is that many of the things presented are no longer operative, thus there is only one restaurant and that is so cold that the staff wears outer garments and the cooks keep their hands warm over the toaster at breakfast. The...

The hotel is clean and has a high standard. One of the biggest problems is that none of the staff speak English. It makes everything so difficult. You would think at least one person could speak English when it's a hotel like this. Wouldn't come back.

Hotel was set in a complex with nice garden and security lodge on arrival. Our room was huge with plenty of space for suitcase. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom was a good size with separate shower and bath. There is a good size pool free for use by guests (there was a hydro pool/area too but you had to pay...

I wasn’t sure what to make of this hotel, but after reading Tripadvisor reviews, I decided to make a reservation and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a pretty central location, but it’s a bit hidden down a narrow road with mostly unappealing construction and other things going on. The hotel is also not that great looking from...

The rooms and lobby are beautiful - I'm guessing it was built for executives at the Olympics. Very lush accommodations. However, it's not maintained as it should be - there were many little things not working properly, the most annoying of which was the shower in everyone's room. The showers were beautiful stone-lined stalls with a rainfall showerhead as well...

Best and most luxurious hotel I've ever been to! Only wish we stayed more than one night. Got this hotel for cheaper than original price due to agoda points. Indeed very very welcoming and comfortable. Tastefully designed with service befitting royalty. Wide variety of choices for the buffet breakfast. A stay definitely fit for a king!

So impressed with the atmosphere, quite swanky-feeling (indoor fountain, modern furnishings ect). Staff spoke good English in person, phone conversations were more difficult, but all staff are eager to help. Bell hops were SO helpful, hotel restaurant has good food with great variety, quite expensive as most hotel restaurants are. Staff gave suggestions on excellent alternative restaurant options. Taxi's had...
