This hotel is a total disaster! It is dirty and smelly; claims to be grand or even 5 star as displayed in its reception area whereas in fact it is below even the 2 star standard. It is not a hotel really, rather, something converted from an apartment building and even the taxi driver could not find it. The whole... More

Stayed there for 5 nights. Room size is large but the room fitting and appliances are quite old e.g. the TV is not even flat screen. Also, the bath tub leaks after shower. The gym is well equipped as it operates as a membership gym. The breakfast has fairly good spread of Asian and continental but no change to the... More

We stayed here with a tour and hotel was better than expected. As new non smoking laws came into place did not have any issue with smokey areas. We had 2 large rooms but 1 rooms beds were rock hard and ours were hard on western standards but soft on Asian standards. My son slept on the floor the first... More

Joined a tour but it was a non peak season so ended up having a private tour around Beijing. I had very very low expectations on this hotel based on the reviews but i had a pleasant surprise. The hotel room was spacious, a bit of smokey smell initially but it was not very strong. That was due to previous... More

The outside and lobby area were nicely decorated and renovated leaves you with a good impression. However, the rooms and other floors of the hotel do not give off the vibe of a "Grand" hotel. This hotel is used by organized groups and tours. So many people of different backgrounds stay at this hotel. Even if the rooms says they... More

This is a non-smoking room hotel but many occupants smoked anyway. We have requested to move to another room due to smoke by previous occupants. We find the room adequately large with comfortable beds and large bathroom. There is a safe, an umbrella, two terry cloth bathrobes in each closet. Breakfast starts at 6am through 10:30pm. There is a variety... More

This hotel is used by organized groups/tours. Beds are very stiff and uncomfortable. Rooms poorly maintained. In many rooms strong smell of cigarettes even though they are presented as non smoking rooms. Poor breakfast especially when it is crowded by organized groups. Big lobby short of seats armchairs and sofas. Poor Wi Fi (speed and coverage).

Cannot say anything good about this hotel. We were booked into this hotel as part of a supposed 5 star package ? Would be generous to give this hotel 2 stars. Hot stuffy room no air-conditioning when queried with reception was offered a fan, rock hard bed, dangerous wiring & extremely unclean. Terrible breakfast with dirty dishes everywhere, most staff... the good: still thinking of any. Maybe that it's close to the famous Beijing antique market Panjiayuan. the bad: this hotel is favored by the kind of new- tourists from rural areas who love it to smoke where it is not allowed, keep the doors of their rooms open, don't teach their children any sort of manners, they are all... Was living in this hotel for 2 months when I was in Beijing, the reception area in the hotel is huge and really takes you back, then I found myself slightly disappointed with the room was pretty basic, but overall the staff were very friendly and the rooms were basic but clean
