We were on a business trip and had our reservations made in Hotel Kunlun with so much doubt whether it had been chosen thoughtfully or not and let me tell you, Kunlun team and services had it all. A true five star with wonderful breakfast buffet. Hotel kunlun is perfectly located next to subway station and minutes away from the...

This is a perfectly nice four or five star Chinese hotel, but really is best suited for Chinese travelers. There are a few quirks western guests will find odd, and for the same price (it's not cheap the Kunlun) westerners are better at a brand name hotel. Here's why. To save money after hours the Kunlun shuts off the power...

Stayed here in 2001 when travelling in China, with a party of eighteen Emergency medicine physicians. Beautiful hotel with many amenities. Nice restaurant with good breakfast options. Comfortable bed and room. Close to shopping. Would stay here again.

Great location for exploring Beijing, this hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Sanlitun where there are lots of good restaurants and shops. The subway station, Liangmaqiao, is very close by (just around the corner). I found the Beijing subway to be very convenient and user friendly. The breakfast at the main restaurant was usually too crowded for my...

In late July I had to go to China to transact business in 5 different provinces and Hebei province was the first. The Emirates flight landed at beijing quite late and the long drive to the kunlun hotel seem unending. Then we hit the frontage of this imposing hotel with porters still waiting anxiously for weary travelers needing a peaceful...

Very luxurious rooms, Extremely comfortable beds and a nice, modern bathrooms. What threw me off was almost a complete lack of interest of the front desk staff. My check in took ages (so did check out and I had a very early flight to catch!). The staff didn't seem very motivated to answer my questions about the logistics of my...

Dear jarekad, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on TripAdvisor. This hotel, which was the first international hotel in Beijing, built still under Mao's regime, is well located in the business district Chaoyang, just over the street from the Kempinski. At truly reasonable prices within this category, the Kunlun hotel stands out with rooms, containing a business corner, a living room in addition to the bed room, all spacious, intelligently...

I have been at this hotel for more that 3 times because of its closeness to the diplomatic enclave. It has 5 star facilities but 0 star front desk managers. I stayed for 3 nights this time round and the personnel service at the front desk was poor. It's about time they get some English speaking people there.
