We managed to just enjoy a stay cation , although it only has 5 floors as it’s an old property it’s well maintained and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. I loved the fact that the shower had good pressure too.

No, it's certainly not downtown and quite a distance from those tourist locations. It is fairly close to a metro station and i used the metro to get to Tianamen Square. By the way, you must buy tickets for the Forbidden City in advance or queue very early on the day you plan to visit.
