Honestly, the worst hotel we have been in the entire China, and entire world for me until now. I've called at the afternoon informing that I would arrive late and I was 10 minutes on the phone and spoke to 3 different assistants just to tell this! We were bad received, nobody helping us with the bags at any time, with taxes that weren't on booking.com, plus they demanded a caution of 1200 yuan, more than we had paid in any place we have been in China, and the double of the room cost. For being there 11 hours. We explained that was our last day and we didn't have that amount in cash, we wouldn't spent so much in one day, and they said to pay by card. We explained at least 5 times that we would pay taxes if we paid by card, and the employees insisted on that point, not understanding at all. We also were filmed by a guy that was delivering an order at the hotel, revealing a serious leak of privacy and security, haven't the employees made anything to stop him and even laughing for this. Security should have been called and measures should have been taken to delete the video, however no one did anything to solve this. When we arrive to the hotel room, we were disturbed by an employee that took all the extras that were in the room, such as drinks, and more things. We demanded several times to talk to the boss, but never any employee showed available to call him. The wifi also didn't worked. Nobody explained us how we should set the wifi, how the elevator works (it appears it's needed to insert the room card), nobody showed us where the hotel room was, absolutely nothing. The worst hotel that we have been ever, a terrible experience on the last place we stayed before leaving China, and we fully recommend everyone to avoid this hotel at any cost. Seriously, we would prefer to be in any hostel that be treated like this in this "hotel". We discovered, when we were checking the conditions of the hotel on booking.com after leaving the hotel, that this is a 5 star hotel. Please, for sure this was NOT a 5 star hotel.…
Good service , we arrived earlier and they helped oss to check in without waiting . Got a room in high floor with beautiful sunrise , wow ! We tried both breakfast and dinner buffet , excellent . We even hade an set menu dinner on the Chinese restaurant on second floor , tasty also . One of the hotel we definitely like to come back to
Room had a great view of the city. Wide selection of food to choose from for breakfast. We could hold our luggage there as we were too early for check in which was great. Staff are helpful and could speak enough English. Lobby is beautiful. Highly recommend.
The room was very comfortable , clean and wide. No rumors from outside. But the very top was the staff everytime extremely kind and helpful. Many of them speak in English in a suficient way. Excellent position . I strongly suggest it.
I am currently here on a 6 night stay on the Lounge Floor (Royal Regency room). The issues started on the first night - the lounge is open between 6 and 10 for food and drink and I went at 7 pm for dinner. Every plate of food was empty (see picture). There were about 9 or 10 tables, 4 of which had empty plates which had not been cleared. I asked the waitress if one was free and she said yes but made no attempt to clear it or replaces the cutlery or napkins. I had to ask for her to do everything several times. I asked if there was any more food and she said it was coming. I asked for drink but they only had a bottle each of red and white wine, some water and two juice jugs which were also empty. I asked for beer or soda water, coke to be told what I saw was all they had. The replacement food came about 20 mins later - about 3 of the dishes were replaced, the rest remained empty as did the trays of cakes etc. There were other plates of curled up sandwiches that had (unsurprisingly) gone untouched. The waitress continued to ignore me, not clearing my plate and spent her whole time preparing soup/noodle dishes for two tables of Chinese guests, one of whom had not even arrived at the table yet (they came later as their food was served). I left and returned later at 9 pm. There was now an older lady behind the bar and the younger one was on her computer. The wine was all gone and the older lady spent the whole time talking loudly on her mobile phone. It was not relaxing so I left. At 4:30 am I was woken by a phone call - i thought it was my room bout it was next door (1005). Then someone from the hotel came to their room and they had a loud conversation in the corridor. I got up to go and complain but by the time I dressed they had gone. Then the same thing happened again 15 mins later. This time I went out and told them to be quiet as people were trying to sleep. Seriously, what was so urgent it could not wait until morning? Tell your staff to at least have some consideration for their other guests. I was exhausted this morning but dragged myself to breakfast which was pretty awful. Many things empty and not replaced, the few thing I tried were all cold, even the tea and coffee was lukewarm at best. I decided to come to the room to make a hot tea instead. On the way I spoke to an assistant manager about my concerns. Unfortunately Marlin was barely able to understand English and I had to explain each thing 3 or 4 times. He could give no response. This place also charges for toiletries and slippers. I have just come from a similar hotel (same price, same facilities) in Shanghai, also on their lounge floor and the difference could not be greater. I am typing this at 10 am and now they just started drilling on the floor. Brilliant. In short, if you have a choice do not stay here. Certainly do not pay the extra for a lounge floor room - spend your money on a decent breakfast and dinner elsewhere.…
