First appearances are deceptive, this hotel is down a narrow, authentic, residential backstreet complete with associated sights and smells. Baffled how this gets a 4 star rating? More like a 2 star. Didn't feel safe arriving down dim small street, carrying suitcase ( taxi can not fit down the street) first introduction was a rat running across the road! Reception tiny, but staff nice....More

The taxi will drop you off where the main road meets the alleyways (hutongs). From there it is about a block walk down a narrow walkway (no cars will fit there) and then a right to walk down a second street. Not too far... More
