Fantastic communications before, on and after arrival. Very professional staff. Excellent room and facilities. Was upgraded despite late arrival. Met by friendly and accommodative staff. No waiting around as staff were very attentive and helpful. Perfect hotel.
Hotel is just across the airport, so we were relaxed knowing we won’t loose time on traffic jams. Rooms are spacious, clean, beautiful. Beds are big and comfortable. All the staff is extremely kind and helpful.
Very helpful hotel staff front bellman, check-in staff to breakfast restaurant managers. Well greeted and helped with my luggages by the bellman on arrival. Check in was smooth and fast, got upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was good and the managers were well mannered and polite. Generally a very good stay.
Having stayed at this hotel a few times before, I once described it as my favourite hotel. But the buffet restaurant wasn’t open for dinner, the breakfast buffet was scaled down with fewer options, and the air-conditioning in the rooms didn’t work. I won’t stay here again.
I would love this hotel anywhere, but as an airport hotel it is exceptional. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Room amenities are plentiful. It is next to a park where you can stretch your legs after a long flight.
Having the flight early next day this hotel is at best convenient with all extras you need. Clean and large rooms, restaurant, Spa and pool, lobby cafe and excellently bar with selected beers, whiskey and wine. Shuttle service to the terminals depart every 20 minutes (05, 25, 45). So, enjoy your stay there.
We stayed 1 night upon our arrival from the US and needed to take a very early domestic flight the next morning. We were so impressed with the friendly, helpful guest services from checking in to dining the restaurant. The decor and ambiance in the room and the public area were contemporary and very comfortable. The guest room was wonderful, bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything we needed. Most of all, the AC was still available, unlike many hotels that shut off the AC at this time of the year. The best part is the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, leaving every 20 minutes on the hour from T3, level 1, door 5. The shuttle is very punctual. Return is also every 20 minutes from :05. Shuttle operates 24/7. Shuttle leaves from T2, level 1 door 3 every 30 minutes. We will be back on our return journey home, and will definitely stay here again when we need to catch an early flight.…
Very comfy and large rooms. Excellent bed. Ming Court was an excellent chinese restaurant, great food. Very convenient transfer service to and from the airport. Check-in staff a bit hard to understand perhaps.
We planned a short stay in Beijing and took advantage of the 72/144 hour transit without visa program. Basically, as long as you are transiting to a 3rd country on your trip no visa is required. The process was smooth at the airport, we got our transit stamp and were on our way. There are some other rules but a simple web search will get you all the details. The travelchinaguide site is a wealth of info on that and more. The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport and is basically a 5 minute drive away. Go out exit 5 on level 1, cross the street (you will see the airport shuttles and local busses closest to the terminal, go past them). I included a photo of the sign and the view back to exit 5. Checkin was a breeze as many of the staff spoke excellent English. The hotel is large and modern. We had a king bed and were very pleased as it was spotless and had lots of storage. We opted to prepay for the breakfast buffet as you save a little and it was awesome. Lots of selection. The hotel had two main restaurants, a bar and a coffee spot. If you don’t eat while out and about, the evening buffet in the western style main restaurant is opulent. There are lots of local selections too. People say in other reviews that it is a bit pricey but look at what you are getting. A la carte options are also available. We used the hotel as a base to explore Beijing. I cannot say enough good things about the concierge staff. Ande was great. He made our quick stay better. Lots of good tips. He also booked us a private driver to explore the Great Wall one day and the Forbidden City/ Tiananmen Square the next. You can opt to use one of the many layover tours but then you are part of a group and on their schedule. We basically had a private English speaking chauffeur. Pick up and drop off are at your schedule, they go where you want and you can change your plans if the weather or crowds dictate otherwise. We picked this hotel as it was close to the airport and we wanted to ensure we didn’t overstay our TWOV limit, but got so much more than just that. We’d definitely stay again. Xie Xie Ande. …
The location is very convenient (you can even walk to it from T3) and the rooms/amenities are very, very nice (pool is free for guests), but all this comes with a price. This hotel was significantly more expensive than other hotels in the area and is in a location that provides few options outside of the hotel (100 RMB for the breakfast buffet per person - no thanks), although there are some inexpensive noodle shops/restaurants a short (10-15 minute) walk. So if you are willing to pay extra for the convenience, comfort, service, and amenities, then this may be the hotel for you.
