I am very glad that we picked this hotel for 7 nights from 26 Apr to 3 May 2024 among all the hotels in the city. The architecture and decor were simply stunning and the location of this hotel was very good just at the start of Wangfujing street. The metro station is just located right below the hotel. The warm wooden colours of the entire hotel including a decently sized room of 50 sqm radiates a luxurious feel - a home away from home atmosphere. Daily breakfast came with the entire stay with a choice of items from a menu (both local and western items) as well a self help buffet spread.
As this was our first visit to this amazing city with its rich history and culture, we ran out of time in the hotel as we were out during the day and did not get to try their tea appreciation session. The good thing is that all attractions are nearby including the forbidden city and its just a short metro ride. We dined at the one star Fu Chun Ju restaurant and the food was outstanding. The only downside is that the price was rather high compared to the rest of the one star eateries that we had experienced in the city.
The mini bar in the room was also free and came fully stocked and they even provided snacks and candies. As its also a celebration for wifey's birthday, upon check in we were greeted with a lovely bouquet of flowers and a cake. The only downside was on the morning of day 2, we had a power outage in our room and were in total darkness, we managed to shower and dress up before heading down to the lobby for assistance as the room phone was out. As we were heading out, they gave us another room and we moved from level 6 to 7 when we came back on that night. Was hopping for an upgrade of room but it did not happen, but nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and were fluent in English. Wifey and I will definitely be back.

This hotel is probably the best I have ever stayed at. Everything is so perfect. Location is great, you have a metro station more or less in the building (line 8, just 4 stops to CNCC if you attend a conference like I did). And there is another metro across the street with two other lines.
The room, the bed, the bathroom… its just perfect.
The breakfast is sometimes a bit caotic if you arrive ”at wrong time”, here is room for improvement! One could wish it was all prepared when they open 06:30. If you arrive around peak hour 08-09, you most likely have to wait for bread. And how can the area for bread dont have a space to put the plate? The breakfast staff should perhaps learn a bit if english too.

After cancelling our Sanya Xmas trip and spending Xmas Day at home in Beijing, we wanted a little break for some relaxation and pampering.
We decided to book a one night spa staycation at the Puxuan and we were so glad we did.
Upon arrival we were greeted by name and presented with a luggage tag gift. Such a lovely touch to be recognised and presented with a gift. We were escorted to reception where we were informed of being upgraded to a corner studio.
The room itself felt really spacious and bright due to the 270 degree wrap around window and came with complimentary mini bar.
We had afternoon tea included in the package which was delicious and the service was very good.
Our spa service was so relaxing and I really like the modern northern European feel to the Spa. Very different to other spas in Beijing. The therapists were really good.
We also ordered room service in the evening and the quality of the food was good which is quite rare in China. The food tasted as fresh as if it was just delivered in the restaurant.
Breakfast in the morning was one of the best we have had in China and felt true luxury. There was a small continental buffet and all hot food was a la carte meaning it was very fresh and hot and the quality was very high. Service was also top notch too.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Puxuan and would definitely return again if they continue with their Spa packages. Also please pass our gratitude on to all the team members who looked after us as their service was heartfelt and warmth.

Outstanding service in a very new beautiful hotel. Excellent restaurants. Every amenity you could want. This modern hotel is approximately 30 minutes’ walk from the Forbidden City. The 5 stars makes Puxuan absolutely true. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. With a fully automatic toilet from the Japanese brand Toto and comfortable beds. The restaurant entices with dishes of French cuisine. A drink can also be enjoyed outside on the attractive terrace. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast (semi buffet) is lavish.

Checked in early at 12pm. Tina at the front desk was really helpful, introduced me to the restaurants and hotel layout, and gave me a very nice corner room overlooking Wangfujing Street. I absolutely LOVE this hotel. It’s thoughtfully and beautifully designed; peaceful, and luxurious. The afternoon teas come in jewellery boxes; perfume pouches appear on your pillow; and the mini bar has lovely plates and glasses together with an amazingly useful pair of scissors! The spa has enormous soft towels and gorgeous treatments. Everyone is professional but also kind. Someone really really thought about how to create something lovely with this hotel!

I had such a great time during my stay. The place itself was beautifully designed in-n-out and the location is just unbeatable. If you want to take a walk or rent a bike, explore and experience the best hoods in Beijing here is your hub to all detections.
We used couple of services during our stay and all of them seemed great - spa, butler, car service, restaurant. The staffing is so lovely and I do feel they all enjoy working there so that great feeling of theirs was passed over to the guests because of their genuinely kindness and willingness to do everything they could to help us.
All in all, great hotel. Will be back!
