Buyer beware!!! If you pay for this online, they will charge you again once you get there. Be ready with more money than you've planned because you're going to have to pay them again otherwise, they won't check you in. For a "three-star" hotel, they have PVC pipes sticking out into the bathrooms and into the ceiling. Even though you're their customer, don't make the mistake of thinking that they care about you. Either they screw you online or they screw you in person.
Nice hotel in a great little location about a 15/20 minute walk to the nearest station. Meaning outstide of rush hour you can get to the centre of Beijing in about 40 minutes. Local amenities, and restaurants in particular are quite convenient with a good range covering street food, hot pot, noodles etc. Somewhere nearby does cheap 煎饼， somewhere 2 minutes away does 冷面 really cheap for breakfast and there is a great Shanxi noodle place 5 minutes away just off the main road. Also check out 柳荫公园 - the local park. Room was always clean, came with a plug adaptor sockets, mineral water and everything else you would anticipate. Staff were always polite, although you might need to know a little bit of chinese to get by.
Hotel is very good for its price, almost all guests were locals we were the only one who were foreigners. The hotel was a little bit hard to find and the map is wrong, the closest station is andgingmen and you have to take the bus to the station, you can walk but it would take 30min. They had 7-9 receptionists that is how busy the hotel was, the ladies wearing white cannot speak english but will call the supervisor who wears blue who speaks fluent english and will assist you in anyway they can. They treat all guests like it was a 5 star hotel very very helpful it did not feel like a boutique hotel, all smiles and going the extra mile to anything that you need or ask. The room is ok a spacious, fast internet and free water dispenser so that you can save money for water. The bathroom was small though but for 300rmb for 3 person was a steal in beijing. The breakfast costs only 10rmb, usual breakfast though, fried rice, sausage, cake, cookies and other foods. Try their bread its like 1/3 of a croissant, very tasty. There are many local restaurants and convenient stores near the hotel. The only down side is that since it caters to local people they tend to be noisy even on the hallways. We can here noise even though its 12 midnight, lots of children running around and people talking with a loud voice.…
This is best to stay in Asia and I did enjoy staying. Staff are helpful and speak very good English. They can arrange trip to visit places. Breakfast is great and reasonable fair enough. Room is clean and big...... Great location,
