Well serviced hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are specious (deluxe room) with all you need. Just the housekeeping forgot sometimes to refill amenities, which are anyway provided plenty of it. However there are no English TV channels as HBO, StarMovies, Fox or CNN. The internet speed isn’t the best but ok for e-mails. Netflix won’t work, except you’ve got a VPN connection. Breakfast is served with a wide selection of variety, but not much choice for western dishes. If you want to go to the downtown, it will take you about an hour drive, if there is no traffic jam. Location around the hotel is a bit empty. Except lots of companies, but not much choice for restaurants. Holiday inn express has better surroundings with a shopping mall next by (Han’s Plaza). But you can walk there for about 20min. However some restaurants are next to the hotel as well a Starbucks and a Burger King. Enjoy your stay!

After a long international flight , we arrived at the Grand skylight hotel. We were so exhausted that we just showered and went to bed, as we had a busy and early start the next day. The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet, with western and Chinese foods available. Rooms were very nicely decorated. Would recommend it for sure, if you have transportation.

The place is a luxury combination of antique Chinese culture and the modern era, with a high lobby on te entrance and wide spaces around covered by walls of Chinese theme and pictures. The rooms are also amazing with a big closet inside, security box, a spacious bathroom with tub, a king bed, one desk for work with a fast internet connectivity, fridge and several items in case you forget something. The dimming room is very huge with typical Chinese meal of high quality and also the chance for prepared meals at the moment. All installations have an extreme level of cleaning and are also available locals inside like a grocery store and souvenirs items. Hotel is conveniently located near to subway and main avenues that connect with strategist places in Beijing. Breakfast was varied and really exquisite. I highly recommend to stay here because it worth for much the applied payment.

Nice and spacious hotel with separate bath and shower. Quality and good spread of buffet breakfast. But distance too far from town. With the traffic jam easily about 3 hours too and fro. Very tiring when you are doing that for 8 days

Stayed 4 nights on Executive floor. Room is huge, bathroom huge as well with shower cubicle separate from bathtub. Lots of table/counter space to put stuff on. Furnishings and decor tasteful and modern. Electrical sockets beside the table are international so I didn't have to use my travel adapter. Complimentary 2 bottles of water. Breakfast buffet good selection (noodles, dimsum, egg crepe rolls, Japanese food, fried eggs, hard-boiled eggs, tea eggs, bacon etc). Also received from front desk coupons for free afternoon tea (3-5pm) and discount on massage, but my schedule didn't allow me to try those. Hotel staff all very polite and helpful. On first morning I told housekeeper that I don't need my room cleaned but just need replenishment of complimentary water; she handed me 5 bottles. The following day when she cleaned my room she left me 4 bottles. Can be improved: 1) Driveway at main entrance does not have lights. Waiting in the dark (e.g. 5am) for the taxi is challenging, can hardly see the license plate number of the arriving cars. 2) Ventilation in elevators. Smells of the previous passengers linger in elevator cars. 3) Ventilation and temperature in rooms. Because it was the start of winter the hotel switched off the air conditioning cooling and only the fan was working. Room temperature never went below 25C in the night. Windows can be opened but not ideal solution because traffic noise and smells come in (even on the 19th floor).
