The rooms were clean enough though the decor is dated which does not leave a very good impression. The service was not particularly outstanding but the staff were still pretty courteous and were very nice even when when had to call them up repeatedly for housekeeping requests. My only peeve is the wifi, which is free but either shuts off...

My wife and I spent 3 nights here pre-cruise last month as it was allocated by the cruise company. We were a bit apprehensive about staying after reading some of the reviews. However, the room was large, clean and functional with all the facilities that we needed (fridge, aircon and free wifi. The bed was a bit hard, but this...

We stayed here this past weekend. Clean; Large rooms and bathroom. We went for the Executive King Room. No working Air conditioning (normal in Beijing this time of year) so we had to open the window; lots of noise and pollution. No Wi Fi. TV did not work. The worst part was SMOKE SMELLING pillows... Clean pillow cases but old...

I stayed here as part of a group tour for 3 nights. The first night my sister dropped chestnut shells on the floor and it remained there for a couple of nights. It was very noticeable. The room was tired and looked like it needed a makeover. Carpet was stained and patchy. Bathroom was old.

This hotel has an excellent responsive staff. The rooms are large, as are the bathrooms, and fairly clean. The food is a nice blend of Western and Chinese. It's quiet and accessible, especially if you don't mind walking a bit. Ah, but the beds, as throughout China, can make the bones ache after awhile.

This hotel appears to be aimed at business travellers. It can be a problem getting a non-smoking room that doesn't have a residual smell of tobacco. Infact, people smoked even in the elevator, so it's a natural 'hazard' at this stage in Beijing. Otherwise, room was clean, large, and with good amenities. I was given a 50% discount because of...

I recently stayed at the Ruyi Business Hotel for 9 nights in order to visit my daughter who is studying at nearby Capital Normal University. The hotel is generally clean, (excluding the carpet in my room). The bathroom is good size with a large glassed in shower. Good water pressure and a nice hot shower every day. The only problem...

I was a group leader for an EF tour, and my students and I really liked this hotel. The location was good, between the 2nd and 3rd ring, next to a bank and across the street from a supermarket. The room was large, by North American standards, as was the very nice bathroom with excellent water pressure (no hair conditioner,...

I thought breakfast was a good combo of western and eastern style food. It was a good intro into Chinese food ( not the American...

I traveled to this Beijing for a conference and needed to find a place to stay in a pinch. This hotel was recommended to me by the conference organizer, so I decided to give it a shot. Do not assume that the front desk staff is fluent in English, although with a bit of patience, they can prove very helpful....
