A good quality hotel - though not luxurious - in a rather uninteresting part of the city (the nearby Black Bamboo park is not easy to reach without jumping over large avenues and the ring). Food is decent though certainly not great, and the rest is exactly like this. Try to get a room facing West, away from the 3rd...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in room 1120. I was quickly checked in by my hosts. The room comprised a large king sized bed with a sofa, desk, work chair, TV, coffee and tea making facilities and a wardrobe. The wardrobe contained a safe that was easy to use. An admirable feature of the room, which was...

I spent a week at this hotel (October 2014). I feel that this was a pretty good hotel and would definitely recommend it to folks. The room was quite good and i would say it is comparable to a holiday inn back in the states. in fact, i've stayed at holiday inns that were worse. Here are some more detailed...

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Capital Normal University where our daughter is studying this semester. It is located in the Haidan district which is in the northwest part of the city. For our purposes it was a perfect location however, I would not recommend it for general sight seeing purposes as it is quite a...

I'm not sure how old the previous review is but I just spent a week at this hotel and thought it was fine. The rooms were super clean, very comfortable and reasonably priced. In addition to a lovely large bed there was a well appointed sitting area as well as a desk. Also, a tea/coffee service and complimentary water. The...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of Nov. The room was fine and quite spacious, with 2 queen beds, a sofa, a writing table and a chair, a big mirror, a tea table with a tea kettle, a wardrobe, a small fridge and a TV. The bathroom was also spacious and had both a bathtub and...

Also known as the Jin Long Tan, this hotel has 5-star guestrooms at a 4-star price. Friends staying nearby at an internationally branded hotel were paying DOUBLE the price. If you need to be in this part of town, it would be hard to beat the Jinlongtan. Also reasonably convenient to the Airport Bus stop coming from the airport, although...

Hotel is very nice. Rooms very roomy. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall very good. Only downsides: lack of gym, swimming pool and location.
