Very good location short walk from a central hub subway station (Jianguomen). Close to major international hotels--none of which have a better location. Right beside Sextant of Beijing--a worthwhile but often overlooked historic cite--where early foreign visitors used astronomical devices to measure distances. Near good banks to exchange money. Most other guests seemed to be local Chinese Families appreciated this... More

This is going to be a short review as I only slept in the hotel for three and a half hours thanks to Air China. But don't get me started on them and their delays... Was looking for a hotel close to Beijing train station as I had an early morning train and this worked out really well from that... More

Be carefull to book cheapest room. This was for me very small room with very old and by water and humidity damaged furniture. Eeven asked for nonsmoking it was smoking deodorized with some treatment. Poor English of hotel staff. I have complained about the room, but I was adviced somehow to stay by next day in the same room. Next... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during the Chinese New Year holidays. I booked the cheapest room but was upgraded to a family-sized suite. Must have just undergone renovations. Carpet is spotless, room in tip-top condition, two bathrooms, two TVs, a soft king-sized bed, three windows with curtains. Location is excellent too. Just 80 metres from Jiangguo Men subway station, which... More

Staff is terribly trained. Internet broke in the middle of the night. No body cared. Front desk staff basically told me not their job...do not bother me (this is not an language issue...I speak Chinese). Carpets dirty in rooms. Halls smelled bad. "No smoking" rooms have ashtrays. Haha. My room had mosquitos. Took 45 minutes to get my room. A... More

So i am not sure whether to give this hotel 3 or 4 stars so i am being generous. My husband and I stayed here two nights (10/14 & 15). Upon our arrival, the front desk quickly checked us in as I presented my voucher. There was limited English exchange. Our room was spacious compared to other hotels in Beijing according to a relative who lives in China and visited us. The carpets were stained but did not appear... More

If you are thinking about this hotel, move on . The staff is not interested in guests, starting from the frontdesk, the romsservice, the restaurants or the bellboy. All have in common that they like to serve anything but guests. And if you still would like to make this mistake, the airconditions could not handle 27 degree outside temperature, which... More

This hotel was the worst hotel. The staff was rude and barely spoke any English. The first night we noticed our sheets were dirty and stained, and when we asked for housekeeping to either come change the sheets or let us change rooms, they said no and laughed. However after we found another person who spoke better English, they eventually... More
