Hotel was in a nice location, a short bus ride away from the nearest subway station and close to the summer palace. Room was nice and cozy and adequate for my 10 night stay. Staff were very friendly although only 1 person spoke english (minimal at best). Needed my partner who is fluent in chinese to translate everything as the...

The Xihua business Hotel is a very good hotel to spend a few nights exploring the Universities and the nearby Beijing area. Very close to Beida and a 10 minute walk from Tshinghua, It is well located. However, it is somewhat expensive, not so sure how much as my stay was sponsored. But all in all a really good place...

Meh. This was super underwhelming. Wouldn't stay there again. Super cold in public areas, restaurant too. Room service is really non-existent. Whatever you do - don't go to the health center. Massages there are an absolute joke. Also, people smoke in their rooms despite it being "non-smoking" - staff doesn't stop them so basically the smell gets to the surrounding...

My Husband and my Brothers had to go to New Mexico, because my Brother Lou died. It was very expensive to come for Four days. Days Inn helped us by being economical. The room was clean, and the Continental Breakfast was great! The people at the Receptionist desk were very helpful!

It's close to Peking University. Across the road is the university's walk-in gate (South). Quiet hotel, clean room and free Wi-Fi. The lobby staff do not speak English very well. Free shuttle bus every morning (except Sunday) to the university and subway stations (East Gate of Peking University and Zhongguancun for Line 4). Cab fare to Zhongguancun station is only...

By China standards this hotel is quite good with some significant BUTs. Location off the main road means it is away from traffic noise and rooms were clean- even the carpet. English only spoken by a few staff otherwise you struggle. Breakfast no where near western taste and the attempt to have to eat a fried egg with chopsticks defeated...

The hotel is very well situated next to the Peking university campus, the subway is a 15 min walk. The restaurants in the hotel and nearby are good, plenty of choice. For a tourist visit to Beijing the hotel is less suited, travel to the center and attractions can take 1 hour by public transport, taxis depend on the time...

I stayed at Xihua last summer for a summer programme at Beijing University. The hotel is very close to the university campus, but it's not close to the subway station. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to get there - not very convenient. Good however that there are a number of restaurants and a convenience store nearby, so at...

It was a complicated experience, the level of English in the hotel is very limited... only a few receptionists are able to have a conversation in English. Even simple tasks become a big effort and require a lot of time, from paying a drink to asking for a chinese address. Another point that was disappointing was the breakfast, it has...

As my title suggest this is located exactly outside the gates of Peking University. If you want to see Tiananmen or other landmarks then it's probably not a good choice. It's in a regional sports training center so at night it's quiet. There are a variety of choices of restaurants in the hotel itself, but if you are tourist who...
