Stayed here first 5 nights. Incredibly helpful staff. Good English spoken. Food very nice and good prices. Room clean and comfy. Location good. We walked to Tien'amen/Forbidden City (took about 25 min). Nearest metro about 10min and wonderful Houhai lake/dining/bar area only 10 min also. Thanks so much for a great stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and my parents and we had a great experience. I've stayed in dozens of hostels all over China and South East Asia and this was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had! As soon as we arrived the woman at the front desk asked us what our... More

This was our first stop on a short trip around china and we weren't disappointed. It was easy to get to by public transport although a taxi from the airport only costs about 95RMB. City walls is located in a traditional hutong sp you really get a feel for real china. Great position for sightseeing too, right by tiannamen square,... More

We have been in this hostel during a china backpack tour stopping in Beijing, Pingyao and Xi'an. This hostel has been the one we liked the best and we will recommend it to our friends visiting Beijing on the following month.  The room is not very big, but confortable and nice.  The toilet-shower room is the same, just one drain... The beds, at least upstair was truly amazing and the shower/toilette facilities where also nice and clean. Staff where very friendly and always ready to help no matter... More

Fantastic hostel. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm and were lucky enough to get the non bunk bed section of the dorm. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, good location just a 15min walk to the nearest subway station. Nice shower/toilet facilities and with a beautiful courtyard area for a common area. Wifi was good and the hostel provides... More

Well located, friendly hostel close to the ancient heart of the old city. The courtyard is a very social space where you can swap stories and tips with fellow travellers. And the sofas make a comfortable place to put up tired feet. There's a handy bus stop nearby and a great hot pot restaurant around the corner. This place has... More

A nice place to stay, location perfect for a stay in central Beijing. Owner is helpful and kind, place makes you feel like home. Well worth the price! First time visiting might lead to some extra walk trying to find your way in the Nianzi hutong, but the locals can be helpful pointing the way. I will probably live here... More

I stayed here with my family in February, ages from 16 to 66 & it was fabulous, I can't fault the customer service the family that ran it were extremely attentive, informative & very friendly. The rooms which may seem basic to some travellers were warm, comfortable & very clean with nice white bed linen. The rooms were just off... More

It is located in a quiet little hutong in a really good location. Everything is either a walking distance from there or you could just walk to the nearest bus or subway station and access the whole city easily. And the surrounding area is beautiful and for all you street food afficionados - there is a food street 10 minutes... More
