The Leopard tent was a perfect venue for a family to visit the Masai Mara. The room was incredible and the views of the animals visiting the salt lick were equally impressive. What might have been more incredible was the service of the staff. From game drives expertly led by Kiarie to a birthday breakfast in the bush cooked by... More

Not having been to Africa before, doing a safari was an added layer of interest. It helped being met on arrival in Nairobi to connect to the smaller airport and once in the Mara, Bushtops made everything a dream come true. Yes the roads are non existent, which are part of the experience, the resort, ' tent', food, service is... More

We stayed 6 nights at Mara Bushtops at the end of July. We did two full day game drives, an early morning game drive, a walking safari, a night safari and various other drives around the conservancy. We would highly recommend staying on a conservancy where you can do the night drive and walking safari. Our walking safari was one... More

My husband and I chose to tie the knot in a unique wedding ceremony at Mara Bushtops last month. The planning was taken care of by the venue and our wedding contact Claudia was always on hand via email to answer any questions and help with the details such as photographer, flowers, cake etc. The legal side of the marriage... We booked this trip through Imagine Africa (little plug there - they were good!) and pretty much took their recommendation to create the perfect honeymoon. This safari lodge (I can't really call it a 'camp' because that sounds like we were roughing it - we definitely weren't!!) was at the higher end of our budget but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience,... We flew in from Nairobi and stayed for the weekend at Bushtops. Nicolas and Joseph picked us up from the airport in their game-viewer. We already saw a lot of game on the way to the camp in the Bushtops conservancy. Philipp and his team of staff warmly greeted us at the reception. After having enjoyed the view from the... More

Having read previous reviews my expectations were extremely high. These expectations were fully met and exceeded in all respects. The accommodation was excellent, the food was top class and the overall service was exemplary. Special mention should go to our driver Daniel and Senna our spotter who were extremely knowledgeable and provided us with valuable information on all aspects of... More

We have now had 4 safaris at Mara Bushtops and many elsewhere and without doubt, Bushtops is the best. The lodges are 5 star, the service is outstanding and each time we leave it feels as if we are leaving friends behind. This year we had Nicolas as our ranger and Jacob as our tracker and they couldn't have done... More

This is my second time at Mara Bushtops and I really hope it won’t be my last. It has been two years since I last visited and everything was just as perfect as it was on my first trip. I love that this is a private conservancy with a salt lick on the property. My tent (Lion) had a great... More
