Speke’s camp is old world luxury and service within the open landscape of the Mara. The staff are friendly and accommodating down to the hot water bottle in your bed at night. My husband is a vegetarian and Moses the chief worked hard to provide variety and great eats. On top of

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay at Speke's. Moses is an amazing chef, we are very lucky to have him on the team! Yes, Speke's definitely is a bargain, especially when you have your own private vehicle and driver/spotter included in the price! Hope to see you back at Speke's soon!

Good to hear you took every opportunity to see and be in the wilderness...that's the perk of having exclusive vehicle use, you can make your own programme and your own pace. Sounds like you made the most of it, you definitely saw a lot! Glad to hear you enjoyed your balloon ride, it's a very special experience. We hope to see you back at Speke's soon.

I was a solo female traveler and I was welcomed with open arms by Speke's Camp! This is a small intimate camp - no crowds!!! Started off by being picked up at the airstrip by Adrian himself and spending an afternoon on safari! Then I was welcomed at the camp by the wonderful

My wife and I went to Speke's Camp in 2016 and loved it so much that when our friends wanted to visit us in Kenya we knew that we had to book again with Speke's and our guide Lekopien. We have been on safari other places in Africa in different types of camps and this was our

We arrived at Governors airstrip and were greeted by Patrick our guide and spotter Mikor Masai Mike as we called him. They were an amazing combination, pointing out the largest and smallest living creatures that live in the Masai Mara. From leopards to terrapins, Beetles to

Again, sorry for the late reply! Muisara is the closest airstrip, it's approx. 30 mins away. A lovely game drive takes you to camp. Air fares depend on time of year and airline...but average cost is $300+ per person one way.

I have just returned and the migration was just happening, it’s late this year so you may be lucky to see some of it. There are balloon trips around which I hear were excellent, but to be honest with Spekes guides they get you so close up to the wildlife I didn’t want to miss a moment with the guides! The staff are superb, I’m sure they could help you book one? You will love it at Spekes! We can’t wait to go back

We just returned from Spekes. The breakfast is huge from sausages, bacon, boiled eggs, bread, toast, jams, oats and yoghurt with tea or coffee, we always had ours out on safari it was excellent quality and plenty of food, we eat large portions at home. Lunch was varied, salad, potatoes, cous cous, bread, chicken etc. Dinners were great, 3 courses every night and the food was excellent. We had things like roasted pork with veg and potatoes, breaded beef with homemade chips and spicy mayo, chicken curry type dish with jacket potatoes. You won’t be hungry. I’m not sure about snacks as we didn’t ask as we were never hungry. Breakfast and dinner were the best meals of the day.
