Both my wife and I have just returned from what can only be described as a trip of a lifetime at the Royal Mara Safari Lodge. The place is amazing, the staff great and the game viewing superb. From the moment we took off in our twelve seater plane from Malindi, on the coast, it was like all my childhood... More

We had a marvellous 1st anniversary celebration at the Royal Mara. Impeccable service, stately rooms with great attention to detail, delicious food and not to mention wonderful game viewing in the Mara (we saw the Big 4; the leopard was elusive). Royal Mara exceeded our expectations and we got a great deal by booking with them directly. Total bliss in... More

This was our first safari trip to Africa and we didn't know what to expect. When we landed at the airstrip our driver Julius was there to greet us with a smile. On the way to the camp we saw a vast assortment of wildlife. The migration was happening and there were thousands of wildebeest and zebras. We even saw... More

My husband and i have just returned from our stay at the Royal Mara. It was really wonderful - we saw so many animals in a short space of time, and our guide Wilson was amazing. He was constantly looking for things and could spot animals from miles away and tell us what they were before we got close to... More

It was our first time in Masai Mara, and we wanted to be in the best place, and after searching a lot, we chose to stay in Royal Mara Safari Lodge. We booked our safari thru steveandrichardsafaris, and Steve took care of everything (Tranfers, Lodge and flight from Mombasa to Masai Mara) and did the best price for a 3... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on safari and had the most fantastic time. The lodges are wonderful, very spacious and comfortable with all of the mod cons that you could possibly need whilst on safari! The beds are huge and very comfortable. The lodges are located next to the river where the hippos and crocodiles laze around by day... More

My husband and I just returned from Royal Mara, we stayed between 2nd - 5th Aug. The staff were very friendly and made every effort to welcome us. We are both vegetarian and they catered for our taste each evening. The quality of the rooms were amazing, the wooden carvings really are intricately designed. The guard made me at ease,... More
