Most amazing experience in Masai Mara! The camp is in the middle of the bush and is surrounded by animals and birds in Lemek conservancy. Our wonderful guide, Hillary picked us from the airstrip and we saw so many animals just on our drive to the camp. We also visited the Masai North resserve the next day where we saw a large group of lions napping and also elephants. "Breakfast with hippos" on the bank of Mara river is such a golden memory. I have never seen so many giraffes, zebras, hippos in the same place before - what a sight! We had a great time in Losokwan camp [group of 4] and our special thanks to Janet, the chef, who made delicious dishes every day. Definitely will visit Losokwan camp again - hopefully soon!

I went with my wife and a 3 year old along with 4 other couples. Stayed for 4 nights. Food: Highlight for us. Chef knows multiple cuisines and prepared whatever and whenever we wanted. Great Indian food can be found here. Pizza and Pasta were good too Camp: Camp is located right in the middle of a bush. Hyenas and Hippos do walk near camps at night post 10 PM which can be scary but camps are quite secure. Security makes sure that guests go into bed before 10 AM Location: Lemek has a lot of wildlife. Cheetah, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Hippos and Hyenas can be easily spotted. Would suggest staying at Lemek conservancy than in the park which is huge and spotting wildlife can be problematic. It takes 1 hour to go to Masai Marah national park gate from camp and road is not great. Staff - very courteous and helpful Safari Drivers: great tie ups who know the Lemek consevancy in and out Disadvantages Since camp is in the bush, the facilities and quality of tents is not a luxury tent. It is just ok to stay for 3-4 nights but not for longer stays. Camp needs a lot more investment in infrastructure but the camp is value for money

We stayed as a family group of 8 pax for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely camp and the whole experience really .... from being collected at the nearby airstrip by our friendly and knowledgeable guides, through the fabulous game drives where we saw many animals & birds (including 4 of the big 5), the lovely camp with it's very comfortable "tents" (which are much more than just a tent!!) and communal areas, and the fab food cooked fresh for each of the (3) meals provided per day. There is plenty to see on the game drives within the Lemek Conservancy itself and all of the guides keep in contact and pass on locations of game sightings to each other so all guests can benefit .... it is not at all crowded and the conservancy has the added advantage of permitting vehicles to go off road so your get a closer view - our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and great at spotting the animals ! We had a day out of the conservancy to visit the Masai Marsa National Park and the river crossing area - well within reach and lots to see all day! The accommodation lived up to our expectations - spacious and very comfortable well equipped tents in a lovely isolated setting, with fantastic views of the landscape and the wildlife visitors .... though an open camp the escorts provided when moving around the camp made you very secure. The food was lovely and plentiful with no complaints there (special shout out for the divine chocolate panna cotta!). We had a lovely time at Losokwan Camp and happy to recommend for a fab & friendly safari experience.

What an amazing place to stay. If you truly want to spend time living amongst the animals in their natural habitat I struggle to see how this can be beaten. From the moment we arrived it was special. The camp is totally open and so all kinds of animals can come through it especially at night but at all times we all felt totally safe. The food was good, the setting gorgeous, the tents were perfect and the game drives amazing. To have so much wildlife so close was a privilege and our guide Hilary was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would The camp was also extremely helpful in sorting our internal flights to and from the camp but then also on to Diani.

We spent two nights in the camp in August 23. We also got everything, pick up from the airport, game drive etc organized directly with them. The camp was very natural but very comfortable, really in direct contact with the nature. No electric fences so you always have to move accompanied from them. Food was good and the game drive fantastic, our guide Steven was extremely competent and we could see really Everything.

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Absolutely loved the setting, small size, tents and people. Could not have asked for a better experience. The ‘tents’ were very comfy, well equipped and spread out so you could really enjoy tranquility amongst the wildlife! Loved the outdoor dining and camp fire. Security is taken seriously and was escorted day and night between my tent and the communal areas. The journey to get to the camp was more than worth it. Losokwan is a special place with lovely people that was hard to leave, take me back.

This was a breathtaking place to stay. The tents were lovely and comfortable. The bath gels had essential oils and smelled divine. A highly secured site in the middle of the Savannah. The food was wonderful and the chef is a beautiful person as well as cook. The team was just so friendly and attentive and went above and beyond in accommodating me to feel comfortable. And there is a little pet cat running around named James! We had a guide join us on the game drive and he was so knowledgeable about all the animals we saw. I couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Amazing place in the middle of Lemek conservancy. The tent was amazing, sleeping with the sound of wildlife animals going around with all the comfort of a luxury tent. People of Losokwan are amazing: the chef is preparing tasty fresh food meals tailored on your needs( we are vegetarian and we ate amazing food), the waiters are always available preparing super nice table outdoor in the savana with fire and candles, security is always focused to keep the camp and you safe going around the place with no fence. We spent incredible moments we will not forget! One day we will come back ! Thanks Losokwan people to made our stay very special!

Our stay at Losokwan camp was absolutely magical. Richard and his team made every moment special; The drinks around the bonfire watching the sunset, the dinners with elephants, giraffes, and zebras at approx. 50 metres from our table and the sounds of roaring lions in the bushes, the walks to and from our tents feeling in complete safety with Rogers and Adesh staying up all night to protect the (unfenced) camp, and the feeling of being part of the animal kingdom in the conservancy - much beyond only during the game drives. Simply put, we did not have to think about anything else during our tailormade journey, other than which animals we were hearing at night from our tent. Absolutely recommended!
