We had our first Safari her at Porini Mara Camp. From the moment they picked us up at the air strip until we left them, we had a perfect time. The staff and the camp was amazing and we enjoyed every second of our stay. At the game drive we saw a lot of nice and big animals and wonderful...

If you are looking for wildlife, this is your camp! While of course every day is different, when we went we saw two giraffes fighting each other, zebras crossing the Mara River, a group of lions attacking a wildebeest and a leopard! They were incredible things that you would never see in a zoo, and seeing them in-person rather than...

Wow! Our two nights at Porini Mara might be the best two nights we have experienced on any trip, and might be the most memorable two nights ever! The best part of Porini Mara was the “game drives” led by Geff Ketere and Daniel Tuarari! Geff and Daniel made the entire trip worth it, even after a very long flight...

We spent two nights at Porini Mara in July 2016. We loved it. Our Masaai guide Wilson was very skilled at finding the animals, had a great sense of humor and showed us a very good time on our game drives. Edwin, the training and relief manager bent over backwards to help make our stay delightful. The tents are are...

Porini camps are just the best way to see the Mara. Super tents, fantastic guides and they feed you really well! Away from the madding crowds, you can go right up to the animals with no designated paths to keep to. We had sundowner drinks with the lions, and crossed paths with hippos on a Night Safari. And sat for...

We picked the Porini BUSH camp, There are three different camps on the conservancy. One is a permanent location which is a step below the Bush camp. Then there is an adventure camp that is rustic camping. This one is operational from July thru October. It is a temporary camp, you would never know it was set up each year....

Following on from 2 nights in Amboseli we flew to Mara... Wow, I was surprised at the difference in the 2 parks both exciting but Mara just had the edge for me. The Porini camp was wonderful, perfect, can't speak too highly of it! Run by Jimmy, the staff are so helpful, happy & obliging, very much part of our...

I stayed here for 2 days and nights in the little temporary camp in the middle of the bush. We saw a cheetah our very first afternoon. And lions the last day we were there. We had the great pleasure of seeing cheetah Noosura and her 4 cubs twice. We saw a river crossing in the Mara Reserve and had...

We had such a nice weekend down at Porini Mara Camp. The migration was in full flow and Ol Kinyei Conservancy which, is attached to the main reserve has just as good if not better game viewing. And the most important thing is that there are no mini-buses or traffic jams unlike the main reserve! It is a much more...

We did the Kenya 8 day safari--from Samburu to Kigio to the Masai Mara. It was a fabulous time --spotting the big five along with many other great sightings of animals, like Gerenuk, Klipspringers, Hyenas, Eland, Oryx, hippos, crocodiles, tree hyrax....the food was excellent each night in camp and it was a whirlwind of baboons and monkeys, birds to fill...
